Cameron's Ace Hardware reviews
15Cameron's is a great small-town hardware store, with a knowledgeable and helpfull staff. They cover everything from small hardware, tools, a well stocked and capable paint department, as well as powered equipment sales, rental, and repair. They also have a well stocked firearms counter with a very knowledgeable gentleman behind the counter. Hunting licenses and deer tags available in a few minutes on site.
Owners need to learn that people are people. They need to learn respect. They are some of the rudest, most entitled people out there. Please take you business elsewhere.
Well stocked hardware store. Helpful staff. Seperate areas for bird feed, feeders and outdoor tools, supplies.
The power equipment section is well thought out with plenty of Stihl saws and related equipment.
Best Ace around! We are in Conowingo and they have the stuff in stock when Rising Sun or jarrettsville Ace doesn't! Worth the extra drive
Cameron's is where you go to get stuff done period. Awesome hardware and home good store. Staff there is extremely customer service driven and is very knowledgeable. A DYI dream.
Staff are extremely friendly, a nice space to shop and also seems like a nice place to work.
Good deals, pleasant, and helpful employee's with the knowledge you need. They have equipment rentals, sell and repair equipment such as snowblowers.etc. Great selection of bulk fasteners and hardware, Craftsman tools, grills and grilling needs, and a small but well stcked Firearms dealer.
Cameron's is a great local family owned store. It's a rare occasion they don't have what I'm looking for, and the staff is always very friendly and helpful.
They have a wide selection of your normal hardware and tool needs as well as a huge aread dedicated to grilling and smoking food with all the hot sauces and smoker chips and pellets you could ask for.
Their garden section is big with an assortment of tools, supplies, seeds, and live plants. This includes a large variety of bird feeder and feed options.
They also have an impressive power equipment area that houses their Stihl showroom. This has been a one-stop shop for me to cover the vast majority of my power equipment maintenance needs from chainsaws to trimmers to my riding mower. They also have in-house chainsaw chain sharpening and repair of power equipment. As well as a pretty good variety of rental options for more specialty power equipment.
Another big plus is the firearms counter in the store. Whether you have questions about firearms, ammunition, and accessories, or PA hunting and trapping licenses, they are there to help. With the 23-24 deer tag rule changes, you will be able to purchase tags conveniently in store.
Great deals on all kinds of gardening needs that I wanted. Online ordering is easy and my items were ready to pick up in just a couple of hours.
Great experienced store familiar staff. I know I can get every part I need normally in stock. Love them.
I bit pricey considering there are plenty of Amish hardware stores with much better pricing in the area
Everyone here is so super friendly. I love shopping local. Great gun counter and rentals for tools and machines.
. I didn't personally buy anything so I'm not sure how their Customer Service is but I was impressed when I walked in how it was decorated, every section was labeled and products stocked!
I honestly was shocked when I seen a Firearms Area they had MANY choices to choose from I couldn't believe they actually sold firearms in there.
They have Public Restroom in the back of the store where they sell their chainsaws and mowers and stuff like that which when you walk in there you won't believe your eyes they have wild game hanging on the walls my daughter thought that was pretty crazy and cool it's honestly beautiful with the wood trim and all that its pretty crazy looking.
They also have a pretty HUGE lawn & garden care section along with a section just for bird houses and bird feed and hummingbird food, also through that section there is a door that goes outside where they have all their plant pots, hanging plant rods, tomato cages, fencing, etc.
Since we just went not too long ago they had sleds also since it's still winter time.
They also have a grill section where they have a wall of crazy spices and sauces that I have honestly NEVER even heard of but they looked really really cool one was stored in a gernade looking jar it was pretty different but they looked pretty good!
They also have a little novelty
section where they have beautiful hanging pictures and nick-nacks you can buy, I forget the brand of them but they sell the same brand in the Pharmacy that I use and the things they have here I have NEVER even seen it was pretty uniquely awesome!
There prices on things, ehh. They seemed like anywhere else.
Not too expensive then anywhere else!
Great selections of home improvement items, canning items, gardening items, bbq and outdoor entertaining, and even firearms/hunting gear. The staff are super friendly and provide excellent service and if you have a question, someone is always willing to assist. Love supporting local great businesses like Cameron's.
