Canelo's Ice Cream, Philadelphia PA

Would have given 5 stars if the place was open until 10pm. I showed up at 9: 39pm n they were closed. They normally are open on the weekends and MABY one day during the week! Besides inaccurate hours of operation, the service is superb, ice cream is amazing and not over priced and the waits never too long! Highly recommend this spot for the great quality and quantity of the products! Just make sure u call before the drive over, most times they r closed.

Great selection of ice cream flavors (and some water ice for all Youse guys) and picnic tables for post-baseball games. Run by a local family. This is the spot to stop when everyone wants ice cream!

Top tier customer service! Friendly staff! Chris took great care of my cousin & I. My cousin got the chocolate banana smoothie & I got a cup of mint chocolate chip ice cream. They have numerous of flavors & toppings. If you have a sweet tooth while your in south Philly or anywhere in the city, definitely come here. I will definitely be back.

Just ordered delivery from Canelos for the first time & let me just say everything was amazing! Staff was super nice. Delivery was extremely quick and my ice cream was still ice cold. Definitely my new “go-to” ice cream place!

Great service on good, basic ice cream “stuff. ” Plus we couldn’t believe how fast delivery was - ice cream arrived cold and not melted (even for waffles and ice cream).

Super friendly staff. I ordered three flavors in large size for $5.50 in a container with a lid. Perfect for take out. The peanut butter cup is the bomb.
