Capone's, Norristown PA

In the past, we have always enjoyed being and eating at Capones. This visit, however, still good it just wasn't up to our standard for the restaurant. We ordered Chicken Parm and Veal Parm. We seem to get this most times. The Chicken was very thin and not very much on the plate almost like they were running out and trying to stretch it and the pasta portion was small on one plate with a good amout of sauce but the other plate had the right amount of pasta with light sauce. The Veal was very good, as it has been in the past. The kitchen didn't communicate with the wait staff at how long for things and what they were already out of. The soup came out first, and although they had one of our soups, we were told right then that they were out of the other after waiting for about 25 minutes for the soup in the first place. The Lemon Drop Martini was also not very good. I hope they get it together soon because we enjoy going there.

This place is the best. Awesome food and a great beer list. The bottle shop has a huge variety of beers. Can't recommend enough.

Tried this place on a whim. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was so cozy and our waitress, Carla, was an absolute joy! It felt like we were having dinner at a friend's home. I would highly recommend it and can't wait to come back to try other things on the menu. We had pasta dishes and they were so well made! Highly recommend Capone's!

Dinner was excellent and the staff were great. Family owned business and the atmosphere was relaxing. Already making plans to take our son and daughter-in-law there. It will be a regular stop for my wife and I.

Great restaurant with the bonus of being a world class beer destination! Been coming here for years. Everything I've tried has been good. Beer choices are always good on the 30 tap system and the bottle selection is just crazy.

Be sure to check out the beer store in the back, which is open 365 days a year!

Good lunch menu. Excellent cheesesteak and fries. Friendly bartender Phil. Shared lots of laughs with another couple.

Food was excellent. Prime rib was prepared exactly as we requested & it melted in your mouth. Staff were all very friendly & went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and wanted.

Capone's is always delicious and satisfying! Prime rib special was outstanding! Angela is the best hostess and always makes everyone feel welcome! Love supporting local businesses and Capone's is always one to go back to!

Went here with a friend for a late night dinner after hanging out in the local area.
This place is absolutely a hidden gem. I really enjoyed the vibe, staff, and community of folks in the establishment. Everyone was very social and kind.

The food was fantastic and reasonably priced. I had the Asian chili chicken boneless wings and the chicken cheesesteak flat bread. The boneless wings had an amazing crunch to them and the flat bread was akin to a miniaturized pizza. Both were a best in class. I have not had better of either dish in my life.

I want to come back and try out the rest of the items on their menu

We were there to celebrate a birthday, the bartender was rude and what I presumed to be an owner was even more ruder. We were going to stay for dinner, but because of the rudeness cut the outing short. The appetizers we ordered weren't that great, the wings were not seasoned at all. The sweet potato fries were good. Will not return.

Had my mother's 80th surprise party a Capones, they were more than good, more than nice, more than decent. Capones is the best.

Had our sons wedding rehearsal dinner here & it was really good! We were early getting there but the staff was ready to go, it didn't bother them. Food was great, service was even better! Angel & her crew were fantastic & they took care of us.

Attended a birthday party here, food was great, atmosphere was great, and parking was easy. Could not have asked for a better experience. The petite woman who was our waitress was EXCELLENT and attentive. Also they packed the food away for us.

The food is fantastic and.its only eclipsed by an incredibly deep beer list. This is a place we always want to visit in the area, my wife and MIL love the food, and I love the food and the beer list. It's a great place, a true gem.

Loved it. We had some vintage barrel aged beers and sandwiches. Boutique bottle shop and Italian restaurant? We're definitely coming back!

We hosted a funeral luncheon there today. And, of course, one never knows how many people to expect. We booked for a minimum of 25 but during the service I called to tell them we’d be more like 50. Turns out we were 68! We slammed them. Despite the unexpected crowd, they didn’t miss a beat. They handled it all seamlessly with plenty of great food and pleasant and efficient service.

I was on my way back towards Philadelphia, and heard that this place had a crazy beer list. And they do!
Family style eatery with a bar section, it has that "been around forever" feel. Super friendly service, the kind where the waitress calls you sugar/sweetie, which is charming.
So the beer list was two pages long in small type, I didn't count but easily north of 20 taps. What surprised me was that the vast majority of beers were from out of state, and pretty much all high ABV choices. I was driving, so I had to settle for small tasters. I hadn't had Pliny the elder in a decade or longer, same with Racer 5, still as good as they ever were. They also had a few rarities from Russian River and Lawson's finest, just to name a few. A bit pricy, but understandable for rare beers.
I also ordered the chicken Parm, as suggested by the waitress, and it was excellent, crispy, cheesy, with lots of marinara sauce. Classic Italian American food that only homemade could beat.
