Capstone Grill, Canonsburg PA

Went for New Years Eve dinner. Everyone there was extremely friendly and made it a fun experience for my son. Food was excellent.

We visited at 4 p.m. On a Saturday, and it was packed. We love that, because it shows our local restaurants are doing well. We sat at the bar for dinner, and the service wasn't the best. We will be sure to visit next time when it's less busy, because the food was outstanding!

Wonderful, old world ambience and food that just nails it, time and time again. The crab stuffed mushrooms and mini crab cakes were great starters, and the filet mignon and parmesan crusted scallops were AMAZING. Go there, ask for a table in Melissa's section, and prepare to be dazzled and delighted. I'd give 6 stars if it was an option.

Took 10 minutes to get our drinks, our appetizer the cheese wheel was very greezy and soggy with barely any breading on it, our soups were brought out cold and our food was below expectation. Very mediocre/Bland food I won't come back here.

Everything was delicious. From the crabcakes, salmon salad, to the liver and onions, it was spot on. Best liver abd onions i have had in 10 years. Waitress was on top of everything. Can't wait to go back.

We were hungry for fish sandwiches and ordered for takeout.
The fish was so good and the portions were HUGE. One could have fed two, but we were each pretty hungry. I ordered the Mac & cheese with crab.delicious.the homemade chips and coleslaw were excellent.

The 3 star for service would have been 5 but the Hostess took a smoke break just before I arrived, which meant I was left waiting for her to return. No one else offered to assist or even spoke as they walked past me. It was pretty busy but a "we'll be right with you" would have been considerate. The Hostess eventually returned with a cigarette aroma that was not very pleasant.

That won't keep me from returning because the food is just so good.

The food was amazing! I had the shrimp and penne and the crab cake appetizer. So delicious! I highly recommend. Great service!

Always one of our favorite spot since our girls were little! We absolutely love the filet, crabcakes, their dipping oil, Roquefort salad, seafood, and more! We tried the mushrooms and provolone for the first time this visit and they were amazing! Can’t wait to go back!

My brother and i were in pittsburgh and decided to stop at Capstone grill.
Excellent choice.we both enjoyed the meal and service. I had the Greek salmon on foccacia bread. My brother had clam chowder soup and caesar salad.also had a delicious peach cheesecake for dessert.
Would definitely return there in the future.

Open face tenderloin and the crab cakes was great. Table of 12 service was very good. A little pricey but food was worth it

Wonderful meal! Our waitress was friendly and attentive, but not so anyone was uncomfortable. I had the manager's special- fillet and a crab cake. No joke, one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Great experience, and looking forward to going back.

Food was excellent and our waitress was fantastic and very knowledgeable about the menu items. Great experience! Melissa was our waitress, I was very pleased with her recommendation to treat myself and have the crab cake stuffed lobster tails, it was delicious! Glen had the crab cake stuffed scallops, they were also great! Had a great dessert to top it off! We have already recommended this place
to friends. It was our first visit, but will definitely not be our last!

Always an outstanding dining experience. If you go anywhere else for seafood - especially crabcakes - in the south hills, you’re missing out. Exceptional service and the food is, without question, exceptional quality and served with a personal touch not found easily anywhere else. Cudos to this team through such a tough time!

Excellent service and better food! Waitress took extra time to make sure we all had a great time for my sons 21st birthday. Would recommend to any of my out of town clients for a classy night out.

We have been going to Bonefish near Southhills Village for fish but no more after experiencing the wholesome atmosphere, delicious fish entrees, and homemade deserts at Capstone. We started with the White Bean and Chicken Chili which was delicious and would make a wonderful lunch itself. For entrees she had grilled salmon (6 oz) with coleslaw on the side. He had trout (8 oz) with a caper sauce and sautéed seasonal vegetables. Both fish entrees were cooked perfectly and the sautéed vegetables were a fantastic improvement over the standard rice which is the typical side at many restaurants. The 'Capstone' for the meal was the fantastic homemade berry Cheesecake. Our server, Ariel, was a delight and provided just the right amount of attentive service. Five Stars!
