Surprised at the reviews. As a first time mom, I absolutely love this office. The doctors here ALWAYS answers all my questions. Even the nurses have when I came in for just shots and had other question. They treat my son amazing. He’s fussy and they always help me calm him down. When he gets weighed, another person helps when he doesn’t want to let go of me. I’ve called after business hours, and had a call back within less than 10 minutes. They always get me in when needed. I’m forever thankful for this staff and everything they’ve done for my son. Whenever he’s fussy, they let me know to occupy the room as long as it takes for him to calm down. These ladies hold a place in my heart.

I grew up going to this place as a child and loved it - especially the fish aquarium in the waiting room (now I am 33, so its been YEARS). Now that we have a newborn, we wanted a pediatrician in Carlisle. I was a bit hesitant to go here because of the reviews. But they did have weekend hours, and we left the hospital on Thanksgiving, so we took the chance and booked with them. The staff that answered the phone to schedule weren't the friendliest at first - but did soften up and make sure we got scheduled in time (2 days after hospital discharge).

Upon entering the office, the aquarium I remembered was converted to a terrarium. Check in was uneventful & they pulled us back pretty quickly (hardly any wait time even though we were early - happened all 3 times we went). Now as first time parents - we just brought the baby (it did occur to us on the car drive we should have grabbed a diaper bag for stuff, but it was too late). We had to remove his diaper for a weight and he soiled it - they were more than helpful to supply us with wipes and a diaper. He lost weight, so they had me breast feed him and then weighed him again (soiled his diaper again, so it was no problem and they supplied us). Turns out he wasn't getting much - reason he was so fussy since we brought him home. So they supplied us with formula & a bottle and he chugged it down. Overall, they have been very helpful.

Dr. Waters has been amazing all 3 times we went. Very informative and has great bedside manner. You can tell she really cares just by the questions she ask and follows up with things. She also is very patient & explains things fully when you have a question (even the stupid ones/common sense.first time parents, so we asked a lot)

My husband and I met with 3 out of 5 of the doctors and we were not impressed. The nurses are very nice, but the doctors are not helpful. When asked a question, we received an attitude as if we're to fully understand and agree with everything they say, even if not explained in detail. One of the doctors literally said to me, "Was the first explanation not good enough? ". We walked out of that appointment and never went back.

My son was a patient since birth. He had asthma since he was a baby and was treated with meds from this practice. We did our well visit check ups every year as scheduled. COVID hit and unfortunately my son was unable to mask due to his asthma. It was time for a refill of his meds and the office said he needed to come in for a well visit before they could refill the prescription. We went to the office, checked in and sat for about 10 minutes and someone came out and said we would have to mask. I let them know my son couldn't due to asthma. The staff checked with the Dr who said she wouldn't see him without a mask. I asked if we put something over his face to get back to the room could he then take it off and they said no. It had to be worn the entire visit. I told them it was impossible for him to do that so I would have to come back when masking wasn't required. I asked if he could get his prescription sent since we attempted to be seen and they refused to fill them. They refused to fill his asthma medication! He had been a patient for 10 years and they knew he needed his medication on a regular basis and they refused to give it to me. I had to find another practice to take my son to so he could get his medication. What kinda Dr / practice does that? This is a very difficult office to work with. Fortunately I found a Dr so he could receive his medication. It's unfortunate that this office was so scared of covid that they wouldn't treat a patient they had for many years. I would also like to mention that we were in the waiting room for approx 15/20 minutes before we were turned away and we were not masked at all. That made no sense to me. I had offered to wait in the car while they checked with the Dr to see if she would see him but they said no just wait here in the waiting room. This is just to warn others of this office. We, on the other hand are just fine with our new Dr who made accommodation for people who are unable to mask.

Some of the providers and office staff are excellent: knowledgeable and professional. But in the short 2-3 years my kids went there, we experienced a lengthy battle over a billing issue at the fault of their 3rd party admin; incorrect entry of rescheduled appts; incorrect diagnosis/ treatment of an infection; and multiple times where the office called me to cancel/ reschedule vaccination appointments.
