Went in so I could potentially buy a car, they told us we could look around outside for what we like, had us waiting outside in the cold and never even sent anyone. We ended up just leaving and not one associate deemed to see if we needed help.

Everything went well until I went to deposit your check for the car I sold you. My name and street address was right but my town, state and zip was wrong. My bank called Carmax fir an OK to deposit the check and after telling this story many times to representatives, that I had to come in to receive another check. I called Carmax myself and was told my check had to be voided. I am handicapped and on disability so the gas expense and my time was disabling. And I was worried that this was a ploy to try to steal my car. The woman on the phone told me that they would put gas in my car at Carmax in Easton. I was livid that I had to drive an hour and fifteen minutes to rectify something that was your fault. When I got there, they wanted me to give them the car keys to put gas in the car. I borrowed a friend’s new car to drive there. I was not about to hand over the keys to their car without permission do I lost out on that promise from Carmax too. The “check”reissued to me did not even have my address on it and looked very sketchy. Three supervisors at the bank had to OK it. I will never do business with Carmax again and I will tell everyone of my friends and plaster this all over Facebook as well.
I had a great experience here! The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly they are happy to be there. I sold a vehicle to them and the entire process was quick and easy. I would definitely return here again and do business.
If you're paying to have a vehicle shipped in from another store make sure your gonna buy. Be ready for the condition to not be so good. They don't disclose damage to wheels or trim/moldings.
The following is my experience at CarMax in Easton, pa. I decided it was time for a new vehicle, but as a truck driver on the road Mon-Fri buying a car online was really my only option. I was in the market with a pickup truck and searched carvanna first but with only 2wd truck I went to CarMax. I was very selective with what vehicle I actually wanted and it only took about a day of searching to find what I was looking for. The truck I found was in Dulles, Va. I paid what I thought was a very reasonable $99 to ship the vehicle almost 300 miles to Easton. From the time I shipped the truck till the time it was ready to pickup was about 5 business days which I thought was pretty quick. In the meantime I was able to do just about everything online. Secure financing and send in all document required to purchase the vehicle. VERY EASY PROCESS. Now on to the day of pickup. When I arrived a was greeted by very friendly staff. I sat down with a sale associate and first thing we did we set up the test drive. It’s a solo test drive which gives you a chance to test out everything and basically take the vehicle wherever you want with out being hassled by someone which I really liked. I then decided that I would be purchasing the vehicle. The whole process maybe took an hour to get everything signed which I thought was very quick. I give the whole experience 4.5 stars and the only reason it’s not a full 5 start is look during the test drive I noticed the drivers side heat seater was not functioning but there was no way I wasn’t driving off the lot with the vehicle. My associate wrote up a repair order and their ship was suppose to contact me to bring the vehicle back and repair which they never did. Their shop is only open Mon-Fri and that doesn’t fit into my schedule so I made the repair on my own. Not a total big deal but that was the only place where they fell short. Overal very pleasant experience and would definitely use them again tk but another vehicle. They seem to work with all types of credit but if you have less than stellar credit be prepared for a big down payment without a co-signer but that’s just how the world works. I did add the CarMax car warrantee that covers basically everything up to 100k miles. They can add the cost of this right onto your loan. Do your homework but for me this was a very easy process.
Excellent. Very personable service. No haggle made it simplified to purchase. Paperwork was a breeze. Literally bought a car in less the 30 minutes.
Horrific customer service! Fuel injector went bad and what should’ve only been a couple days at their mandated shop turned into a month and a half and Maxcare warranty adjuster still didn’t show up.
The lady that took care of me was amazing. She had us in and out quickly and got top dollar for my vehicle so I was very happy.
I completed the form on your website for an offer to buy my truck. It looked too good to be possible. I went to your Easton store with the expectation that, after looking at my truck, CarMax would make a lower offer. But to my amazement, the online offer was confirmed.
I was impressed with the technology that allowed them to confirm the value of my truck very quickly. We were there about two hours, but it was time well spent and we went home with a check for the online offer amount. Our salesman, Bob M, was very courteous, helpful and pleasant to work with.
Overall an excellent experience. Never sold a car that easily and for a fair price. Thank you.
