19CarMax definitely made up for the starting part of this transaction. They're a great company to buy from and make the situation right. Their warranty is worth it in the end and their guarantee is backed by their word. I've trusted them for over 20 years and will continue to, moving forward.
I had the pleasure of being told that nothing was wrong with a vehicle after I test drove it and could hear the wheel bearing while driving on smooth road surface. Obviously I did not complete the purchase.
The worst experience of my life and that of my family was now at CarMax, they are liars, they make you buy a car that you don't need regardless of your situation so that after a year you can change it and the payments are lower after going to change the vehicle now CarMax does not offer you even half the value of the car you have with them to take another vehicle because the car that CarMax sold you first was destroyed and when we financed the car the saleswoman (Thao) never said that the car had a accident with the previous owner they tell so many lies at CarMax I don't know if we are the only ones who went through this, and now we wanted to take a vehicle of lower value than the one they sold us and it turns out that the payments are much higher wow I really don't understand Why doesn't CarMax say that the car had an accident and then not receive the change as CarMax told us at the beginning, now we have to spend the winter with a vehicle that does not adapt well to the streets in winter because of its salesman Thao and CarMax we have a helplessness that only God knows, I hope this happens to no one else because of some lie they tell for selling a vehicle even though that is the seller's job they should be more sincere, it is a total disappointment
Your service is AWESOME! I think my service representative was THE BEST! He went above and beyond, to make selling my car easy and no hassle' s or pressure, he also made sure we were comfortable and offered if he could get us anything to drink, while we wait, if I remember correctly I think his name was Daniel, please Thank him for me for his AWESOME customer service skills, they were greatly Appreciated! 100% liar. They will say anything to sell you a car no matter what position you are in she said in one year come back for what you want and everything will be great and a much lower car payment to come in find out it was all a lie. I went for one that was even cheaper than the one I have, and the payments were extremely higher. I’m just so disappointed. I was looking forward to my family car. One that actually fits my family comfortably. Ps no payments, missed and good credit.
There was a mechanical problem with the truck that I found during test drive. Service department couldn't find problem and sent me to Chevy dealer. Problem solved. CarMax service department very easy to work with.
I recently had a vehicle transported in from out of state which I ended up purchasing. The online description was accurate and the vehicle was nicer than anticipated upon arrival. The customer representatives were all amazing from first phone contact to pulling off the lot with my new vehicle. Myrta my in store sales rep was very friendly, knowledgeable, and kept the sales process moving once I arrived. This was my first experience at CarMax and found them to be priced fairly on their vehicles and trade in values. I highly recommend checking out CarMax and make sure to ask for Myrta!
Lancaster location - this was my first experience dealing with a sale to Carmax. There were a few unexpected hick ups with the offer, but Troy used his experience and customer focus to pull the whole deal together and made the experience Top Notch! Can't say enough about Troy's commitment and professionalism. Class act.
Selling a 2020 Kia with two names on the title. Called ahead to confirm what papers I would need to bring since the second title holder is unable to come to the store with me. I'm told I need a copy of a power-of-attorney. Simple, fine. On the day of sale, the staff at the Lancaster PA store tells that I needed to have the ORIGINAL COPY of the power-of-attorney, the copy with the original signatures and notary stamp. A very small but very important detail that the telephone agent neglected to mention! Getting this paperwork required a 90 minute round-trip back to the store. On arriving at the store for the second time in the same day, there is an undescribed problem with the computers. I and several other customers had to wait at least an hour for some kind of solution. Once that was resolved, the actual transaction was smooth with no hassle. I'm not at all bothered by the computer problems. I am disappointed by the info I got from the telephone agent. I should mention that I specifically called the Lancaster store to get the paperwork info, expecting to speak with someone at the store. Instead was transferred to a work-from-home agent based in Richmond Virginia. I'm not sure that's a good policy - to have someone from a different state advise on something specific from the seller's state.
If I could give negative stars I would. This has been the worst experience I have ever had to deal with. CarMax dropped the ball big time and never once communicated anything to us. When we call they gave us the run around and each person we spoke to gave us a different answer. They refused to make anything right. You are better off buying a car from a crackhead. You definitely will get better service and most likely atleast the car. CarMax can't even do that correctly. Also Thao is the rudest car sale person I have ever dealt with. Pretty sure she should change careers I would say more but don't want to ruin the fun for everyone else. I just dare you to use them

I recently purchased a 2014 sorento. After a few trips back to carmax they decided to buy back the vehicle. Not only did they go above and beyond to get me into a new vehicle they added money to my down payment to make it possible. I know that's not always the case but I am so thankful for carmax and their team. I love my 2016 sorento!
A great concept, no voodoo! No going back and forth to the sales manager. Trade in evaluated fairly and price of the vehicle clearly stated. That is the deal, no haggling. I will buy here again.
Had the best experience buying a gently used car for my daughter! The car was shipped from down south to Lancaster for a nominal fee. Everyone there was so friendly and seemed genuinely to like their jobs. Our salesman Dan was super flexible, friendly and put no pressure on me to close the deal in a hurry. They put a free hold on the car so we could take our time to think about it. The pickup was seamless and Tyler, the “numbers guy” got all the paper worked signed and had me out in about 20 minutes! Now if only they’d teach my daughter to drive….

Car was purchased 2 weeks ago. After driving for 3 days, transmission went out. They picked car up and don't want to fix it, saying they cant find the part. Text was sent from service department saying to contact sales team b/c the "pending order" was cancelled.
Very pleased with my sales man Victor he was very kind and polite. Once I needed some service done after the purchase of the vehicle as a purchase to a late Saturday evening and noticed the great details in the daylight the following day called them they made an appointment. I brought it in and now I am very disappointed how can they give you a dirty car? You complain about it and they only clean one seat because that’s where the biggest stain was. You can clearly see the vehicle was not cleaned when I took it home that night. Now the statement is some marks they cannot be taken out when you can clearly see. The car was not cleaned at all!
