Cavanaugh's Nursery & Supply reviews
15They are selling an invasive bush that wasn't to be sold and they are selling them. Confronted them and he said I'll give you a deal on them. Not a fan, owner was very arrogant!
Very knowledgeable staff, hardy product, a huge variety of product as well. Easy to find as well.
Picked up topsoil and mushroom compost - they did a perfect job on a 50/50 mix for me.
I get all my mulch and soil here, great quality over the big box stores.
I can't speak to the landscaping trees/shrubs/plants but they always look like they have a good and varying supply of healthy items when I am there.
This pleace is great for the permanent plants and trees in your landscape. Huge selection of Japanese Maples! See in video.
Eli assisted me in purchasing a lilac bush showed me all my options gve me instructions on how to plant and maintain it. Personalized experience
Very nice nursery they have lots of choices of plants and trees. There was a beautiful dogwood tree there.
Great nursery. Been going there for years. Very knowledgeable staff, great assortment of plants, flowers and trees. Would recommend 100%
Use Caution. Their dirt and composts are not clean fill. Pieces of various plastics, duck tape, and foreign objects have been found in the loose dirt anf compost that they sell.
These debris cause contamination to the soil, and could potentially be harmful/toxic to humans, other plants, and general life, depending on the circumstances.
Anything but "Clean" dirt or compost, should be avoided.
The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful, and are all nice. Prices seem on point or better then local competitors. Plants and tree selection is good and you can order something if it is out of stock.
Nearly all of the plants and trees I purchased at Cavanaugh’s a year ago Spring have died. Just very disappointed and out $2k. They planted the trees and plants. Oh well was the sentiment when I called, so just very disappointing. It was not a good experience.
Had a truly great experience. They arrived on time, were courteous, and did an extremely professional job. Look forward to dealing with them again.
What a great nursery / supply yard. Their topsoil is top notch and the plants and trees are well priced. Just picked up two white birches and they look amazing.
The hours Cavanaugh's post is reliable. I arrived 10 minutes before closing and got loaded with topsoil. I'll pay a couple of dollars more so I don't waste a trip.
Purchased a red mimosa tree on July 26,2019. I covered it in the winter to protect the trunk of the tree, however, now in May 2020 there are still no branches on it and it does not look like any will be growing any time soon. I called Cavanaugh's and was told there is no warranty on the tree unless they planted it. I was not advised of this when I purchased the tree or I would not have purchased it. Nothing could be done. So basically I am out of $73.83. Will not go to this place again or recommend them to anyone.
Bob the owner is f#$&!? @ awesome know his trees plants flower and really has a great nursery
