We love this authentic Lebanese restaurant tucked away on Market St. The owner is very warm and welcoming and desires to give his guests the best food & service. Thanks so much for a superb meal! We’ll be back.

Never disappoints! Thank you for an amazing meal each time. The hummus is THE best in town. Each dish is filled with aroma and spices. Healthy and delicious. Recommend over and over!

First time here. Would probably have never found my way here if not for friends' invitation, but I was impressed. Got to experience their 13th anniversary celebration, wonderful food, and great company. Will definitely be back!

This is such a great place. From atmosphere to service and the crown jewel the FOOD! Well done Cedars. I had the hummus, fattoush, spinach pie, hearts of palm and makdous, which is the small mezzanine and a perfect dinner! Authentic and delicious!

The food was amazing- great vegetarian options. The wait took forever to get our food so do not be rushed. Byob and relax. Seems like they cook it fresh so I would rather wait than be disappointed.

My top spot for tasty lebanese food. I had a cousin come into town and she asked me to go back here. This place has a good design.

Whatever you do. GET THE BAKLAWA! OMG.amazing! Husband says shish kabob was also very good - but the dessert was where it's at! Highly recommend!

Mary Anne was also super nice and friendly! Great staff!

Generally, the place has been fine, but on this visit, my lollipop chops were still frozen in the middle and I had to send them back twice. The chef was sick, so our waitress was cooking our food, which she obviously wasn't trained to do.

Disappointing! Started with grape leaves that were out the can that u would buy at a grocery store.ordered tilapia was good but no exotic flavor.tasted like a meal u would order from a diner.nice atmosphere, waitress had no personality.not worth the money!

I went there to watch belly dancing and have a good meal with my husband and girlfriends. I was disappointed but things had changed since I had been there last, and the sound system was not working that great. Therefore they quit Dancing after one song, and yet that was the reason that I was primarily there.

Nice atmosphere, cloth napkins sort of place. Excellent food, best middle Eastern I've had in the area. Good quality and variety, complex flavors well balanced. As the chef modestly told us, "better than home cooking. " >=)

I was only here once, many years ago. I decided to stop in last Friday night. The menu looks very nice, unfortunately I didn't get to eat any of their food because after giving me the menu I sat there for 15 minutes and no one waited on me, so I left. There were two other occupied tables in the whole
restaurant.

I had his chicken kabob with “fresh lettuce and tomatoes”, the kabob was so dry and overcooked I literally threw the whole kabob away, I tried eating the wrap with the veggies and sauce, but I couldn’t you could literally taste the small pieces of ice in the lettuce. Thats all fine maybe his chef called off or whatever the reason is, but 30 minutes after i eat only some bites from the wrap my whole stomach went upside down, I ended up throwing up everywhere and my friend took me to the hospital and the nurses told me it was food poisoning. So I checked my bank transactions that day to make sure it is Cedars. I called the owner and I told him this and that happened (I didn’t ask for my money back) and i just wanted to let him know as a paying customer how my experience was and the guy starts screaming and cursing in Arabic, but he didn’t know that i spoke Arabic as well. As a middle eastern, this guys behavior/actions and certainly his food has nothing to do with anything about the middle east. Also cant wait until someone notices how he doesn’t wear gloves when he makes your food. Eating in Cedars is literally the same as throwing your money in a trash can but that trash can can also give you food poisoning, I guess Cedars is special.

Very good Middle Eastern restaurant. We came right after they opened at 11: 00. They had rich and menu with a lot of variety. The owner prepared everything right there and right hen, nothing was from previous day. Everything came was so delicious and fresh, authentic and genuinely prepared. Prices are reasonable and seating is comfortable. Clean and neat place.

Along the highways (11/15) and byways (Erford Road) of Camp Hill and East Penn, there have been lots of new restaurants opening recently that claim to offer "healthier" options. These are all chain restaurants, and they ship their ingredients from all over the country and the world. That makes for sub-par nutrition, because of the long commute, and sends the corporate profits to places like Bradenton FL, etc.
But, we have a locally owned restaurant smack dab in the middle of the Market Street corridor that offers truly fresh ingredients, wonderful dishes, and they've been in Camp Hill Borough for YEARS. That restaurant is Cedars Restaurant.
We've never had a bad dish- in fact they've all been fantastic! And fresh, and made with REAL ingredients that didn't travel thousands of miles to get here. Afraid that Lebanese food might be too exotic for you? Try the chicken shish kebob platter with sautéed vegetables and rice. And after you love that, try more and more dishes, like from the appetizer, dessert, sandwich and entree menus. You will not be disappointed, and you'll feel great the next day!

I wish I could give a zero. This restaurant is HORRIBLE. My husband and I are new the area so we decided to try this place since we love Lebanese food. After spending over $60 for take out we threw out most of it. I have never had such HORRIBLE food. Save your money and find a different place.

This was not my first visit to this restaurant. My first was really quite pleasant. I had no issues and the food was quite good.

That being said, my second experience was vastly different. The lamb kabob that was serves to my fiancé and I was just off. It was gamy, overcooked and didn’t taste like lamb.

We didn’t make a fuss about it. We figured it was a one off since our first experience was a positive one. Just don’t order the lamb next time right?

As we finished up our meal, we witnessed the owner of the restaurant (who never introduced himself) speak extremely rudely to the woman who was serving us. He rashly demanded she wipe bird poop off a chair while he watched and he hands were already full.

The interaction was so abrupt and revolting that it infuriated my fiancé to such a degree that she asked the owner (who didn’t introduce himself when he sat down with her) to speak to her.

My fiancé then told him politely that she felt really offended with the way he spoke to our server. She told him that he disrespected her and that it offended my fiancé to the upmost degree. The owners response was “but she’s a waitress, that’s what she’s supposed to do”.

What the owner failed to realize is that my fiancé and I both have both been servers in the past. He had nothing to say to her besides what I described earlier. No “sorry you were offended”, no customer service or care shown at all.

Meanwhile, while this conversation was unfolding. I was sitting across the restaurant boxing up the (non lamb) leftovers.

I could see his body language and approached the front, check in hand ready to pay the bill. I sat down and shook the owners hand (which I now regret) and he said to me verbatim “if you do decide to come back here, you can’t wear that”. Referencing the tank top I was wearing.

I was shocked considering the content of the conversation I knew my fiancé was having. I was dumbfounded and my fiancé replied “were never coming back here”.

Let me make this clear. I was infuriated. There is nothing posted anywhere about a dress code and I’m an account executive who wears a 3 piece suit every day for work. We’re no bums off the street and he treated us like we were privileged to be at his establishment.

I’ve never been disrespected to that extent as a paying customer in a restaurant in my life. My family refuses to give money to anyone who would treat his staff with the disrespect that we witnessed.

As we left Cedars my fiancé encouraged the waitress and told her “you don’t need to work here. You deserve to be treated better than this” and with that we left.

This business is just simply all wrong. The owner is frankly a joke and doesn’t have respect for his staff or his paying customers. Shame on you sir. The best part of the experience was watching him fumble for a response while my fiancé scolded him.

If you want to watch a grown man yell and berate his staff while you eat dry, over cooked lamb then this is the place for you! Who wouldn’t want to watch the owner of a restaurant argue with everyone within a five foot radius while dining out with your family. Service sucked, food was worse. If that’s even possible. Do yourself a favor, don’t eat here.

Only ordered some snacks for takeout. Tabouleh and hummus were both very good. We tried the rice pudding dessert which was good. We also tried one of the fried desserts and while it was good wasn't quite our thing. The restaurant is on a quaint street with a nice outdoor seating area - next time we'll come for a full meal and enjoy the ambience.

Good food. Service was nice, too. Gave us our space, which was fine since my friend was a regular there and knew the food pretty well.
