Celebration Villa of Altoona, Duncansville PA

We needed a short-term respite stay for my Dad while my Mom was in the hospital. He wasn’t too keen on the idea initially, but John Imler went out of his way to be helpful & once Dad got settled he said everything was fine. Dad’s ultimate test, the food, passed with flying colors!

Such a caring and compassionate team! There are always such fun activities happening and the food is wonderful!

Celebration of villa isn't just a job or a place for a resident. They are another family from the first second of becoming a team member. Everyone welcomes everyone everyday and it not just a routine that happens a job, we all look for each other to great them. One of the best things is the amount of activity, events, parties, and most of a good laugh we have.

The residents, families, and staff are their main priority. They treat the residents like their own family. Wonderful company to see flourishing in the area. I have the pleasure dealing with them often.

Nice facility! Good size rooms, very kind and caring staff and the in house therapy option makes in great for rehab stays.

Celebration Villa is by far the closest to HOME I have found for my mother. The care, knowledge of residents, and activities that the staff promote are exceptional. I looked at several other facilities before I found Celebration Villa and that’s exactly what they were, “Facilities” not HOME. I am so at ease knowing that my mom is at home there and being cared for by what I believe to be friends not just staff.

Celebration Villa has been the answer to our prayers for our loving parents! They were previously in another assisted living which turned out to be a not-so happy experience! The entire staff is always so very friendly had helpful with all of the residents. The family nights that they take time to do are amazing and just shows their compassion to our family members! They are all diligent regarding health issues should they arrive (which unfortunately, has happened with our father) and they have shown their knowledge, expertise and care with all that has happened. In the meantime, they are and have been making sure Mom is being well cared for and supporting her in this time.

While Celebration Villa being a longtime customer of mine, they are always striving to brighten up the landscaping for an inviting home for their residents and doing so with their safety as a number one concern.

The staff was wonderful caring for my mother. She transferred from another facility because they didn't want to deal with my mother's developing altzheimers. Celebration accepted her with open arms and provided the necessary care she needed with compassion.

Celebration Villa of Altoona is a family oriented dwelling for your loved one. Regardless how busy the staff is with giving care to the residents they always have time to stop and speak with the residents or their families. Management and staff work well together to keep our residents clean, comfortable and well adjusted to their surroundings and activities. The family is a very important link to making residents adjust and feel comfortable with his/her surroundings. No matter what goes on at Celebration Villa of Altoona, the residents and their well being is the most important aspect of joining us as a resident.

Staff is very knowledgeable and it’s good to see all of the activities that are provided to keep the residents engaged and enriched.

Celebration Villa was the perfect fit for my Grandmother. The compassionate staff goes above and beyond to ensure your loved ones receive the best care possible. The facility is beautifully maintained and the food and activities are top notch.

Honestly 1 star is being nice. This place is horrible to work for. You are looked down on for trying your best and when it’s not good enough for them you are made to look like the bad person. You are then pushed to the point that you don’t want to deal with it and quit. But if you don’t quit don’t worry the executive director already has someone on stand by for your job. Sneaky people and place to work for. All good employees are pushed out! The way this building is ran is very unethical. Hence why they are always hiring.

I've had the pleasure of having both of my parents stay here. My dad has since passed and my mom is enjoying her stay at Celebration. I love how the staff treats my mom like she is family. She has met a lot of lovely residents while staying at Celebration. The best thing for me is, I no longer have to worry if she is eating or taking her meds right. It is a beautiful property and I highly recommend it. Thanks Celebration Villas.
