Department of labor should pay a visit to this facility and speak with employees about their pay, hours, breaks exc.
I pulled a few loads from here; drop and hook. Never had an issue always in and out in like 25 min.
I did hook and drop from them, the lady at the check in it’s the rudest person I ever meet, couple of times been there, same lady, same attitude.
I worked for Central transport for 7 months and now I hope they accept me again, very Nice people, the Manager was very friendly, Her name is Carol

Absolutely the worst company. Save yourself a headache and money. I made the mistake and picked this company from uship's website because the were the cheapest. First, the driver did not even have a pallet jack on the truck to move the product being delivered. I loaded the pallet onto their truck with my forklift. I asked the driver to move the pallet closer to the cab of the truck because I noticed the truck was empty all the way to the back. He told me he did not have a pallet jack to move it. When the delivery arrived, I was immediately notified by the customer the 7 cases of the product were missing. I contacted the Central Transport right away to let them know. The said it would take up to 10 business days to locate the product and if they do not locate it I can file a claim. I patiently waited but did not receive a call back after waiting the 10 business days. I called a rep and they pointed me to the claim form on a website. I filled out the claim form and submitted all the required docs including my cost of the products from my vendor. The total claim amount was $188. I received a letter in the mail about 2 weeks later saying the claim was denied because they were not notified within 5 days from the delivery date. That was such a blatant lie as I have all the calls recorded including the one to their company immediately after my customer called me to let me know of the missing products. I basically lost about $300 between the cases that were lost and the additional shipping costs to send the missing cases. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more shipping with a reputable shipping company. Uship should also be ashamed promoting a company like this on their website to ship with. I will be contacting them shortly to let them know my experience with this shipper.
I use Central all the time! There rates are great and had no problem with the delivery and I live in the sticks.put your number on your shipping docs, so the can find you.works for me everytime.
This has got to be the worst company, I have dealt with. I have waited for a shipment for over a week, in that same time span, I have received 6 orders from the same area via NEMF, ESTES, AND WARD. When you call there they promise the next day everyday.it never happens and they could care less. Do not use this company if you need product. I have been waiting 9 days so far
Giving one star is one too many. Freight arrived at their terminal six miles away from us on Monday. No delivery on Tuesday. Called Tuesday and was told freight was out for delivery Wednesday. It wasn't. Called Wednesday and was told the freight was marked as HOT for Thursday delivery. It wasn't. Called today and was told that it's out for delivery on the 8th. THIS MONTH OR NEXT?
WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE HOW HORRIBLE THESE PEOPLE ARE! TOLD US 2 DAYS IN TRANSIT. GOING FROM A BUSINESS IN PA TO A BUSINESS IN INDIANA AND AFTER A WEEK IT WAS STILL NOT DELIVERED! TOLD ME THE LABEL GOT MESSED UP ON THE PALLET. REALLY? NOT! THEN COULDN'T TELL ME WHY IT WAS SITTING IN TOLEDO OHIO! IT WAS ONE EXCUSE AFTER ANOTHER. NO RETURN CALLS. NO FOLLOW UP AND RUDE PEOPLE! BUYER BEWARE! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Our company recently purchased product from a vendor who used Central Transport. The driver arrived with with half a pallet and said the pallet was split but said the rest would follow. Said we were only signing for what we directly received. Remainder of load never delivered and they denied a claim. We were defrauded by one of their unscrupulous drivers. DON'T Use them or have them sit while you physically count every single piece and don't take their word for anything. They don't take responsibility for the actions of their drivers.
If you ever get a chance to book a load from this shipper to Central in BATH, PA, do not use it, ever. So unprofessional both ways. Takes 7+ hours to Unload. SUCH A BAD PEOPLE, TREATING DRIVERS LIKE TRASH, IF YOU HAVE DIGNITY DO NOT GO THERE EVER, THEY ARE THE GREATEST TRASH IN USA, I don't know how they still in Business, Where is DOT to inspect this kind of Trash playing around with Drivers. They go after Truck Drivers but they don't inspect shippers or receivers.
