My loved one has been left in bed all day in nothing but a shirt and a brief from approximately 2 pm on. Her diaper looked bunched. She looked emaciated. The previous time she was taking to the Ceiling also in nothing but a brief at 5: 00 pm. She had a pause in breathing too when I entered her room. Laying in bed a lot promotes bed sores less circulation less movement that’s critical. Like others mentioned short staffing had been mentioned as reasoning for things that could be more ideal. I’d appreciate more ideal for my loved one. Activity movement socialization being in the light/ common area clothed as much as possible aka more than the am shift and yes of course proper rest is critical for health in bed preferably clothed properly and checked on regularly. It’s well known that too much time in bed is deleterious for anyone including the vulnerable residents in nursing homes that often can’t speak up for themselves. It doesn’t promote good rest actually or monitoring by staff to have someone in bed during the afternoon evening shift. My loved one didn’t look well at all like that, but has when out and about with other residents, talking and smiling. She also looked dangerously thin. I’ve seen her eat well full meals in the great room and not as well in bed. People all ppl deserve to be clothed in the middle of winter no less and not left in bed most of the day in their room alone in just a diaper/ brief in medical jargon to sound more dignified. In just a short shirt in bed during the day in winter wasn’t that in my humble opinion.

Ii wouldn't recommend this place to NOBODY & i do mean NOBODY! I was here on a travel assignment which i was 17 1/2 hrs away from home & they treated us like TRASH! Some of the staffs are veryy nice! They was very short staff so ofc TRAVELERS were all through the building! They are full of drama & very racist! My contract was over, but begged me to extend because my work was very unmatchable! I had to end my contract wayy before my extension date because they tried to lie to my recruiter like i was late and much more but THANK GOD i had proof everytime i got to work! If you're looking for a great place to work that makes you feel welcome DON'T GO HERE!

My grandmother with dementia is currently in the hospital right now with COVID. This is the second time she's had covid. I was on a video call with my grandmother and my mom a few days ago and the caretaker left the room and said that when we were done talking, that we could just "hang up"and she would come back into the room after a bit. My grandmother started coughing very badly. My mom had me get off the call so that they could call the center to get someone into the room to help her. It took them 15 mins to get to her. They told my mom they would help my grandmother and make sure she was okay before ending th call. She had two strokes before going to the hospital and the doctor was the one to report it. They don't know when she had them though. So the people that she was in the care of weren't paying enough attention to her. Thank you SO MUCH for taking such good care (NOT) of my grandparent and just so you know, they aren't sure that she is going to come back out of this one.

80 percent of the food sent out to the residents is cooked hours before hand and sits for awhile before getting to the residents. Very very sad fact when most those residents are looking forward to their meals. Would not recommend this place to anyone

In an age of constant change and uncertainty, the team at Centre Care continues to be a pillar of consistency. While confronting the same challenges presented by COVID-19 that so many employers face today, Centre Care's commitment to its staff and residents offers something more than just a paycheck. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED

For almost 16 years I have worked at Centre Crest now Centre Care. I enjoy working here, we are family, we are a great team. Our Residents and my work family are the reason I enjoy coming to work every day. These last two years have certainly been a challenge during COVID but I could not be more proud of the Centre Care team! It's a great place to work.

Family member was only there for a very short time. During that time the staff went beyond duty to accommodate for our family

New building is nice BUT very under staffed. Call bells are not answered in a timely manner. Some, a few, of the staff seem competent but most not sure they care about people. My mother has fallen 2 times in 5 weeks with a broken hip and then stitches to her head. This is unacceptable.

I will warn everyone I can to stay away. I worked here for a short period of time and reported this facility to the state due to the horrible conditions. The new building is wonderful, very clean and full of amenities. The staff is insanely overworked and underpaid. On a typical evening a wing of 60 residents would have 2-4 CNA's working, leaving 15-30 residents PER PERSON. This means no matter how hard you work, you just can't get through dinner, brief changes, showers, and bells rang in your 8 hour shift. There were many times I would get overwhelmed and emotional because of the conditions we were left to work in which left the residents in compromising conditions. Not all CNAs here are good, I've seen some laugh at a resident's passing, purposely scrub "difficult" residents roughly, and ignore call bells and bathroom needs if they deemed a resident too needy. In its current state, I would not ever put my family/friends in here, even temporarily. I think the new building is great but with the same management present the rebranding doesn't mean a thing.

If you have other options for good care take it. My mom has been there for almost 2 months just for the rehab. In that time they've ignored the call bell, left her on the toilet for an hour and also allowed a wound from her back surgery to become iinfected twice. So now the wound is worse than it was. They were told by the surgeon to schedule it 2 weeks before they called to schedule it. Somehow it got misplaced. I get there is a so called pandemic but my sister passed away last week Monday was the viewing my mother all alone just lost her daughter had a curfew from 0930 to 1500 to mourn the loss of her daughter with family. I pray to God they never have experience the loss of a child and only get 5 hours with family. I'm sorry but that is ridiculous!

Truly blessed to be a part of this compassionate team. Coming from another state and facility I can truly say first hand that I am amazed of the benefits we have to offer to our staff and residents. Never have I experienced such an amazing team with dedication to providing the best possible care to our residents and staff. So proud to call Centre Crest my second home and everyone here my second family.
