Chambersburg Dental Associates Ltd reviews
20Great care at Chambersburg Dental. I was impressed with the coronavirus safety measures taken across the practice. It made me feel safe.
My visits have been met with friendly and gentle techs and dentists. The only problem is the cost. I found other practices that are less expensive. Not sure if I will switch because of how I have treated at Chambersburg Dental Associates.

Always appreciate the care and concern from all staff-front desk to back area! Thanks for the preventative measures too!
1st visit with this office. Good experience. Friendly and courteous. Already recommended to family member.
I had several bad experiences at other dentists in the past, but finding Dr. Stepler at Chambersburg Dental Associates is helping me move past that and start to become comfortable at dental appointments again. He takes time to talk to you and explains things well. Thank you Chambersburg Dental Associates and Dr. Stepler!
I chipped a tooth on a Tuesday, called the office Wednesday, They fit me in Friday! My mouth thanks you!
Exceptionally well trained staff professionally guide patients through the process during covid19 and cleaned my teeth exceptionally well.
Have been taking my kids here for atleast 2 years but went in at the beginning of covid with 3 children, the receptionist told me due to covid they didn't want "extra" people along but since my son is only 6 I could stay in but my other 2 had to go sit in the car and wait for us. Not a minute later a girl came in for an appt with another adult along with her and no one asked him to leave. My son is 6 and had cavities 2 seperate times, they said they wouldn't fill them and he needed to see a pediatric dentist. I tried to tell them he has gotten cavities filled before and he does fine (doesn't require laughing gas) but they said no he needs a pediatric. Never been back and never will! What good are they to just do the cleanings and outsource the "harder" stuff.
I have going to Chambersburg dental since I was a child over 30 years. I went in to get a crown taken care of they made a mistake on my records on which tooth to be done. They caused my repair to be delayed a month then I went in to get molar repaired they injected my gum with a local it was the most pain I've ever had to get a crown done. Then dentist prepped my molar for temporary crown. I told the dentist that I didn't like the way it was feeling right he said it will be better once I bite down on it. Not even 8 hours later it came off almost swelled it. Went back in next day dentist acted like I was no big deal, but it was to me, a paying customer. He wasn't willing to fit my tooth with a proper fitting one. So I left with no cover. In seeing a nother dentist for 2nd evaluation. The practice was a lot better before my other dentist retired do not recommend them for tooth repairs.
Probably the best dental clinic I've had to go to, everyone is a treat to talk to and more then anything, the short wait is just amazing. I'll keep going back since they have always treated me right. It has been a pleasure dealing with each member of the staff.
I was dreading getting my tooth ground down for a crown! To my surprise it was incredibly pain free! Dr. McCleaf and his assistant were very friendly and genuinely concerned about my comfort during the procedure!
Appointment was for a broken tooth. Dr. Joe (Anjeski) is extremely professional and very gentle as always. My one issue was the surcharge added for COVID supplies. This is not a charge that should be passed on to the patient who is not responsible for the pandemic and who probably already has had a negative impact. Additionally you are not informed of the charge by the staff, it is just quietly added to the bill.
I have been going to Chambersburg Dental for many years. And I can truly say I have never had a bad experience. I miss my Dr. Pastor and Kimmy my favorite dental assistant. But I guess everyone needs a break. They all keep me smiling:)
It's been about five years since I last visited a dentist. A friend of mine recommended Chambersburg Dental Associates to me. It was a hassle free, painless visit. Got a very thorough cleaning and x-rays. The staff were all professional and personal. It was worth the drive and I will recommend this office to anyone in need of dental care.
The front desk professionals, the dental assistant and the Dentist were all kind, professional, caring and patient. I felt at ease here and my tooth pain was dealt with in a manner that helped me relax more through the procedure. Would highly recommend.
Everything was done carefully and professionally in my opinion. Cancer screening was thoroughly done. I have no complaints.
Having just moved to the area I was looking for a dentist. Chambersburg Dental Associates was recommended and I was quite happy with the services I received. Candice (sp) and Dr. VanCleaf were very friendly and thorough. I would highly recommend them.

This is an excellent dental office. I can't say enough good things about this office. EVERYONE IS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. They go out of their way to make my visits a good experience.
Very rude! Called to schedule an appointment for my boyfriend, who has great insurance/ coverage and I've never been treated so horribly in a 1 minute conversation in my life! Got questioned as if I didn't know what I was talking about and then got an attitude about their schedule being booked for months even though my bf is in a lot of pain! Will never call this place again and I'll definitely recommend people to stay away from this office! Unbelievable!
I brought my six year old for a routine checkup and cleaning. The hygienist refused to use a thyroid guard for the first x-ray saying that they needed pictures of her neck. They took a second set of x-rays at the same visit, where they did use the guard. So, my child has had an exorbitant amount of radiation in one day and one was without thyroid protection. The hygienist made a note for her to come back to the exam room alone next time due to being uncooperative during x-rays (most likely meaning me). Not gonna happen, lady. Dentists are supposed to use a thyroid guard EVERY time they x-ray to prevent radiation exposure to the gland, which has seen a very large increase in cancer in the past decade.especially in women. Do some research if you doubt this.
Why would they need pictures of her neck at a dentist? And what makes them think a six year old wants to see the dentist alone? There are better, more family-friendly and considerate options out there.
