I called yesterday to speak to the general manager but the lady said he was talking to someone, so i told her "thats okay can you send me threw his VM" so she did and i left a VM message and still waiting on phone call! Highly upset that when i bought my santa fe i got free oil changes, free tire rotation and free car wash! Called to make an appt for oil change and its 69.99 and tire rotation was 14.99.i dont mind paying it but sheesh when i got my SUV that was the services they provided for me! Am wondering if my warranty will still be accepted, they dont even bother to call every person to speak with them at all about there warrantys or services! Highly dissapointed!

I purchased my vehicle from Hamilton Hyundai a few years ago. A big selling point for the dealership as a whole is their "Dealership for life" situation. When purchasing a car, I was told that I would get free oil changes and tire rotations on the vehicle for as long as I held on to the car. This works well for me for years.
Cut to today - I had made an appointment for my complimentary oil change last week using Hamilton Hyundai's website. I go in for my appointment, they don't have me on the schedule. They ask if I booked online, and say, "Oh yeah, Hamilton got bought out and complimentary services are no longer provided. ". Okay. I understand if a new company is coming in and decides to get rid of that policy moving forward - but there is no attempt to grandfather the customer base they bought from Hamilton? Some sort of discounted service program or any attempt to right this? Seems wrong to me. I'm not happy with Hamilton (still have Nissan in Hagerstown?) for leaving their loyal customers out to dry, and I'm CERTAINLY not happy with this new company for pulling this on the existing customers. I will not be returning for any service or future car purchase.

Your response to my rating mentions your high standards at Hamilton Hyundai, which you are no longer. My expectations were met until you removed the dealerships for life program I was expecting for the cars I purchased.

When this dealership was Hamilton Hyundai, I liked how they treated me as a customer. To add to some of the other similar recent comments, this dealership recently changed ownership and the free lifetime oil changes and also my powertrain warranty have been stripped away. These were major factors in deciding to purchase our vehicle at this dealership. If you are going to take away such an important customer benefit, at least have the courtesy to give the loyal customers a minimal discount on a service that was once free but instead they chose to price gouge. I was quoted $70 for an oil change. When a dealership is buying oil by the 55 gallon drum, they can do better than that. This dealership lost my business and I would assume a good bit of other business as well but I'm sure that my opinion and business doesn't mean mean much.

My wife and I had a great experience buying a new car from Chambersburg Hyundai. Jon in sales and Sheri in finance made it relaxed and pleasant. They couldn't have done more for us. And by the way, we LOVE the Santa Cruz!

I have been looking for the hard to get Palisade. A friend of mine referred me to Jeff Goodman here and I am so glad they did. This has been the most easiest transparent car buying experience I have ever had. He is a very down to earth person and made me feel like I was a part of his family! I've gotten my last 4 cars from Jon at Chambersburg Hyundai and have never had a bad experience. He's always made the process as easy as possible and I couldn't imagine going to anyone else.

Made an appointment for my car to get looked at to see why it wouldn’t start all of a sudden and why my turn signals were being all wonky. After two weeks of not looking at my car from the initial appointment time they were supposed to they called saying I owed 300 for a fuse and turn signal bulb. Had to reexplain once again that it wasn’t just a blown bulb as they forgot taking two weeks to even look at it so they had to go look at it once more. When went to finally pick it up and sharing my displeasure with the whole experience they said they weren’t able to offer a discount due to change in ownership. Needless to say I will not be taking my car there again or going there for any future purchases.

I live 2.5 hours away from Hamilton Hyundai and have been looking for a Tucson Hybrid for several months. The Hyundai dealers in my area are marking up sticker prices as much as $4500.00, if you can even find a hybrid. They say it's a supply and demand markup for the models in high demand. I refuse to get ripped off. Times are tough for all of us. I contacted Hamilton and can highly recommend talking to Jeff Goodman. Jeff went out of his way to keep me posted on in- transit vehicles and today I was able to purchase a Tucson Hybrid, with NO markup whatsoever. No salesperson/dealer in my area seemed to care or ever did as much as Jeff. The Chambersburg area is lucky to have Jeff and Hamilton Hyundai!

Depends who you deal w the one lady in the service department was super rude and not helpful at alll. I ended up calling back and speaking to an amazing woman who was very helpful thank goodness bc I wasn't going to deal w them if I had to keep talking w the VERY rude loud woman. That one woman ruined my opinion of the whole place and I'll take my car a half hour the other direction to the other one in Hanover from now on. Customer service is a HUGE part of having a business and when people are spending the amount of money at a dealership you should be polite especially if it's bc they didn't understand something not everyone knows how things work at your job.
