Charlie Weaver's Restaurant reviews
17French onion soup was Deee-lish. Ribs and chicken were so tender. Service was outstanding! Great find!
A backroads hideaway with a homey, rustic decor. A nice night in a local place with decent food
Great meal and very friendly and attentive service. The restaurant is small and out of the way but the food is excellent. We were very pleasantly surprised.
This is a beautiful hole in there wall type place with lots of country charm. The food is wonderful with an award winning BBQ pull park that to die for. The staff is great. Love this place.
Pretty good food. I would reccomend trying it out for a nicer meal. Menu a bit small though, would have liked more options.
We had a great BBQ dinner tonight at Charlie Weaver’s. Our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive, and the ribs and cornbread pudding were fantastic! So happy we found this place during our trip to the Poconos. Look forward to visiting again soon!
WOW. What a surprise in the middle of nowhere. Great Mom and Pop restaurant with charming homespun atmosphere. Service was truly excellent and extremely friendly, nice to feel welcomed when dining.
The food was excellent but be warned the side of ribs are huge. The Cole slaw and cornbread pudding were delicious! Everything we had was very good. The Sea food cakes are great switch up from normal crab cakes.
We got there early on a Thursday night and within a short time locals were there enjoying the great food. Go early and enjoy this out of the way treat! And experience service like it should be when dining out!
Very nice place to eat for birthday, anniversary, anything people nice food great love this place
The place is adorable and decorated colorfully! The staff is friendly and respectful. The food was out of this world, stick to your ribs delicious! We will definately be back!
What a relaxing beautiful inviting place. Food was delicious. Best ribs I've had in forever. Friendly service. Worth the the price for great for. And their tea is delicious as well.
Food was excellent and atmosphere is wonderfully cozy. Service was a little slow, but that is only because, like most restaurants post COVID-19, they a short staffed. The server, yes there was only one, did a great job and was tipped appropriately. Hours are short, but worth it to get there early.
Your in for a real treat. The food is "Shut The Door" excellent. The St Louis ribs are fantastic. ALL the sides are sooo good.the corn bread pudding and mash potatoes with real home cooked gravy was delicious. The atmosphere is charming. We cannot say enough good things about the owners sooo nice.they take a lot of pride in the food they serve as well as the service. This is a restaurant you will not want to miss. My wife and I want to thank you for a wonderful dinning experience.we totally enjoyed our flavorful.delectable.home cooked meal on our vacation get-away!
We both got sick after we ate there. The food was not worth the price. Byob. No real entrance. Bathroom light 6 feet from floor. Crowdee during covid. Server was nice. Thats is all. Good luck if you eat here.
Food was very good, but it's very pricey and they don't have many cheaper menu items. Staff was all super nice, and super helpful. They told me the website/menu is over 10 years outdated. We would have gone somewhere else. Just passing through, looking for a cheaper bite to eat.
I would give more stars if allowed for the Prime Rib. We have been going here for a few years and I normally always had the beer can chicken, but in the past year I have been ordering the prime rib on the weekends and have NEVER been disappointed. Service is always great and we look forward to our next visit.
Great food and our server was wonderful! Reccomend the prime rib, seafood cakes, and fried cod. Very fresh food.
First off let me say i am a cook myself so it's not easy to get a recommendation from me.but baby! The steak was amazing. Tasted just as good reheating in oven 3 days later.i got the Delmonico with the Gorgonzola topping.cornbread pudding and mash. The pudding made EXACTLY how I like it.maybe a tad sweeter but excellent. The mash I thought wouldn't have much flavor but packed with it. My boyfriend got the smoked ny strip.i don't know how it was smoked but that thang had a bacon flavor! Now onto.the mussels! Omg! We had an ASMR going on.all i heard was mmmmmmm's.this is a long review but I was highly surprised at the quality of our dinner at this best kept secret homecooked food byob restaurant. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS. BUT I AM DISAPPOINTED I WAS UNAWARE IT WAS BYOB! For my own pleasure!
