Checkers, Philadelphia PA

This is the worst food I've ever had in my life, I ordered a number three Burger with a soda the burger was uncooked the bacon was uncooked I took one bite and had to throw everything away very horrible close down the store. They even had the nerve to sit in the car and watch me attempt to eat it and then throw it away. What kind of people do you actually have working here

The staff was great, very polite and patient, but the food quality is trouble. I will not be spending $43 of my hard earned money at this business ever again.

Foods okay, tastes like they cooked it a few hours ago and just put it back on the grill to warm it up.

Horrible experience my whole family got food poisoning we should have known better to go somewhere that is always dirty looking on the outside as well as the inside

They did not provide any service and no one inside was working. They ignored us and we couldn't order.

Worker was kinda rude, and he was dressed poorly (his pants were sagging and his boxers were showing). The outside of the checkers looked very rundown, dare I say, ghetto.we were at the little box thing where you say your order, for like, 5 minutes and no one answered.the box thing was also rundown and beat up.the food was okay, but not worth the hassle.

Servers got mad because they put the wrong stuff on my sandwich and I told them it's not right. And they had to remake it.

This checkers is horrible I went there they said all they have is fish and soda why stay open if all you have is fish and soda smh never going there again. I give them -5 stars.

Checkers really dropped off. Their burgers are definitely alot smaller. They also seem to have gotten rid of their "specialty sandwiches" which I use to look forward to.

They still offer some "2 for" items but the selection is very limited. This particular location is a complete mess. The outside has zero signage and is so poorly maintained we thought they were out of business.

As always, fries were good. That's the only thing they have going for them anymore. HARD PASS!

I noticed that handicapped people could not park in the handicapped zone.because your employee is parked there. She has no handicapped placard and the date was 6/24/21 @ 2: 15 pm. Why is this allowed? Its a grey Toyota Camry.you guys did respond but i couldn't complete process because the ink on the receipt was faded!

French fries are hard their food taste like trash do not try the wings full of a whole bunch of sauce that is not so pleasant to The taste burgers greasy not too much of a good experience and my son got food poisoning from here a few years back tried it again to see if anything changed about them or their services milkshakes they do not have different flavors only vanilla so overall it's not an ideal place to go to if you are trying to grab something on the go

Sorry to say this but not the best place to get take out from because the workers do not care much for sanitary.

I was not happy with the fries I ordered. There was too much cheese and the fries were not fresh.

I'm so so very disappointed in this store when checkers first hit philly in the early 90s I worked for checkers Corp out of Clearwater Florida I opened this store along with lavan Hawkins I stopped in as I was passing buy last week and I almost turned around and went somewhere else.the trash gates were open trash was on the out side of the gates the drive thru was crashed into the curbs had so much grease on them the stainless steel was dripping with rust in many spots the famous neon lights were broken in many spots and looked like they hadnt been repair in years this location use to do 60.000 a week it had a tracker trailer parked on the lot storing the meat so they would never run out. I understand that times have changed but the up keep of this property is so so bad.
What who is in charge and this is just not because of the winter months this is just plain lack of concern and just looks so run down. The drive thru was very slow I waited 9 minutes for a champ combo and it was only one car ahead of me and it was at 1130 am not only was I disappointed buy the looks of the building and the surroundings but the order taker said excat change or a card.now I must say they were poilet and nice. And yes the fries were hot and the first bite of the champ buger was just like it was in the early 90s.on the food. I'm sorry I'm a die hard about checkers but I know u can do a lot better

Workers here seem not to know that they are in service business. I understand one could have a bad day but after my third visit here last Saturday this, I believe attitude is a culture here. Most people just want a meal. So please, "meal" them, not "attitude" them.

I dine in this lovely place quite a bit! This is my favorite spot to eat. I go there many times. The meals are excellent, the crew is professional and the cost is good. I enjoy eating in this spot for a rich meal.
