Chelsy's, Downingtown PA

For context: if you don't frequent the spot it may be a bit chaotic. Their ciders are good, and I'll drove an hour just for that drink. It's a good spot.

Love this little hole in the wall bar. It's even better now that they have a covered room out back for smoking!

Loved the bartender, wish I remembered his name. He was most attentive, friendly and just Downingtown friendly. Come if you haven't in a while.

Always a good time at Chelsy's. Great staff, diverse crowd. My guy Brian is a very knowledgeable bartender and always has a great bourbon ready to pour

Such a great place to grab a beer and relax after a hard day. The bartender I think his name was Brian was very nice and welcoming. Can't say enough good things, just if you get the chance to stop in I highly recommend it.

Good vibe. Good mixed crowd. Good beers. Good music. Not a dive. Not upscale. Just the right balance. Will be back.

Friendly staff, ample free parking. Nice beer selection and boozey slushies! Bryant Brothers smokehouse bbq pop ups occasionally as a bonus!

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. We liked the amazing environment and the meals. The staff members were very attentive. I’m happy we finally managed to visit here.

No smoking allowed anymore. Trying to hard to be fancy. I miss the Dive. I want it back like so many other things the left has and continues to take away.: (

There outside seating area is a nice addition and the food they serve on Wednesday and Sunday smoked pork, chicken and ribs smell delicious and taste good to but everything I got wasn’t cooked all the way and lots of fat on the pork and wings were very chewy but then realized all of it was under cooked so if it was cooked all the way it would have been great I suggest they start smoking the meat at 8am in order for it to be all the way done so no one gets sick because the flavor is awesome just need to be cooked a lot more and I was last customer of day so everyone before me definitely had undercooked meat and chicken maybe didn’t realize it and if they ate it they definitely got sick but didn’t know why they were sick! Going to try the food again and hopefully it’s cooked all the way so I can give a 5 star review

Great staff and good prices for drinks. Home town bar, friendly and have guest cooks that make great food. Like Bryant Brother’s that makes great BBQ on Wednesday and Sunday.
Highly recommend this friendly local bar.
