Cherokee Campground & Family reviews
17I wouldn't recommend this campground cause the owner doesn't make everyone follow the rules. They don't enforce the speed limit. The water pressure is poor. There's no place on the campground that is handicap accessible not even the cabins. They put cameras up pointing right on your site without your permission. You pay 600.00 dollars a month and if you don't have a heated hose you can't hook up to the water for your camper. When you use the bathroom you have to take your own tiolet paper cause they don't keep the tiolet paper stocked in the stalls. It's not worth paying 600.00 dollars a month for a site. I had to give them one star so I could write my review but they don't deserve no stars
It was amazing. Very nice proprietor, even brought us some milk for our 2 small children because we are traveling in a skoolie. Very quiet and only $40 a night! Will be staying here on our way back to Vermont!
Bathroom are dirty n the water has not been working n the have camera up that point right in ur windows my mother n them have had to contact police for the mechanic man not wanting to follow there own rules n plays music way pass quite time
Amazing weekend at this amazing campground. Epic amenities, trails and a great DJ. Made so many great memories with my kids. This place is short driving or walking distance to both lakes at Pine Grove State Furnace state park, along with an epic blast of history with a self guided tour through Camp Micheaux POW camp. Epic spot to lay your head while you are enjoying what the park has to offer!
Great place for the whole family, plenty of activities and many many friendly people and the owner is dope
We rented a cabin for the weekend. It was clean inside, but the outside could use some TLC. No bathroom, but bathhouse was just across the road. Bathhouse was dated, but clean. People were very friendly.
This campground sucksThe owner is a ripoff you rent a campsite off him for a year and charges 2500 when you pull yor camper off your site for any reason he rerents your campsite that you payed for the year which he shouldn't and he does then you bring your camper back to camp on the site you paid for you can't he's making making all kinds of money of sites that are all ready rentedthat should be against the lawHe should be turned into the Better Business Bureau and the the town ship for people living there
Looks like a very nice place. Pool looks so refreshing on a hot day.
I have not stayed here but I have visited people who stay over the summer season and a couple who stay all year long.
They really like the place.
Dirty cabins dirty refrigerators booked our trip 2 months ahead of time and got kicked out after I first night for someone who was spending more money front porch on cabin was so dirty terrible maintenance and glaring looks from employees
Adequate for a 2 night stay, but the sites had very little gravel. The dump station is difficult to find and the road to it was too muddy and unkempt that I was afraid to use it.
Great family campground. Everyone is friendly. Salt water pool, DJ or Band on weekends. Family activities. Close to Laurel and Fuller lakes.
It was kinda like a hippie campground. Most of them were long terms.
They have cool amenities, a game room with some arcades, and a big playground for kids next to a pool. The bathhouse was decent, hot water worked well. Music can be loud at night until around 10 pm when they have a party.
I think they need to update the website. It was $40/night for a camper site.
Would be nice if they allowed older campers. They'd get a lot more business. I mean besides the weekenders
Very nice people, campers and staff. They have very clean rest/shower rooms. Food from the snack shack was awesome. Great band on Saturday night. Loved the cabin we rented. Low prices with a lot of fun.
Got a cabin for $75 and they were good to us we stayed 3 hours pass check out. I would come back here.people are really nice and the place is cheap. For a weekend.
Great Campground, very nice pool, playground. Great employees, the food is amazing and entertainment every Saturday. Within walking distance of the Appalachian trail and plenty of streams to fish.
Definitely not Tagg run. They ran that restaurant into the dirt. Was in the family for such along time. No restaurant, stone ground everywhere in campground. What a shame Rusty and Jim would be devastated to see this place now. I’d never pay to come here. Use to be beautiful.
