Chesapeake Crab Connection Co, Oxford PA

Very disappointed. We ordered a dozen crabs for the Super Bowl and couldn't believe that they sold us lightweight crabs, which I swore were x-small. We ordered medium crabs because our crab place ran out, and you can't always trust someone's judgment of large, x-large, or jumbo for over a hundred and something dollars over the phone.

You know the baby crabs that should be thrown back into the water because they are too small? The crabs they sold to us were smaller than those. These were more like crabs from a fish tank.

We'll cut our losses. The run was good, but previously we were sold bad mussels and, recently, baby crabs and charged for medium crabs. Fortunately, there will not be a third time.

Thank you for the good times. When the person who sold us those crabs knew that they were not legit, that wasn't cool, so we will no longer do business with you.

I hope this review will make you more aware of what you say vs.what you sell. We wish you well.

Selection was extremely limited. They are hardly ever open and the seafood isn't fresh. Prices are extremely high But the kid that works there is nice.

Expensive for sure, BUT crabs are always good no matter the time of year. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is sometimes when ordering xl large or jumbo they slip in some smaller crabs.

First things first, I’ve been eating crabs for 40 plus years. From Virginia to Pennsylvania 10 to 12 weekends a year! Let me tell you today I think I eat the best crabs of my life! 2 Dozen Jimmy’s @$90.00 a dozen STEAMED PERFECTLY NOT BOILED! WORTH EVERY PENNY!
Everyone Packed with meat! The perfect, what I call the mustard color inside, White flaky meat! Me and my girls could not finish them!

Best crab meat around, I like to eat it straight from the container with old bay. Guy that works there is very nice.

We called and complained about a few supras that looked a little small. After I complained I thought to measure them myself. And OMG, come to find out the others were SO BIG it made the seven inch crabs look small. The owner was very cordial when I called back to apologize and did everything he could to not make me feel as bad as I did. Thanks again.

The best and only place to get delicious, fresh seafood in the area. Staff is very polite and knowledgeable. The decorations and atmosphere is also perfect for the business!

Awesome and fresh food, I love the atmosphere the spot has, and the cashiers were very welcoming. Will definitely eat here again.

Freshly steamed shrimp with or without Old Bay swasoning are some of the best I have eaten in my 75 years. Clams were sweet with lots of flavor. Very easy to eat these claims like potato chips or pistachios. Open Thurs through Saturday. I plan on making it a weekly stop. And FYI It is take home only.

There never open when there supposed to be. Don’t make plans according to their schedule you won’t have what you need. Fix you sign.

Delicious fresh shellfish -very accommodating service. Steamed clams were fantastic, crab cakes peppery and all crab.

There always closed when the sign says there open. When they do open some days dont expect it to be on time. People make plans according to YOUR hours. Told me that the lancaster location was busy so they didnt send anyone here. So that happens every thursday there for your not open on thursdays period. Fix your sign this happens all the time.

We met with friends at this restaurant for a meeting.my friend recommended this restaurant. Well, we were not disappointed.we were warmly welcomed by the staff and we had an excellent feeling. The meal was great. We loved this spot a lot and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Highly recommended.

This is the second time we’ve ordered from here and have had terrible service. Today, my husband placed an order ahead of time on the phone and was still left to wait over an hour once he arrived there. Eventually we were told that our order was never received and that they didn’t even have half of it available at the time.
Being from Oxford ourselves, we like to support the local businesses but after this I think we’ll be traveling a little further for our seafood selections.

We ordered medium dozen Maryland crabs through them and happened on two separate occasions, we got duped had two juicy Maryland crabs the rest paper shell. I know how kitchens work and they do that on purpose. If your gonna do that lower the price from $70 to $20 a dozen for mediums or add more crabs. Not good customer service.

Visited this place couple days ago five stars that's for sure the gentleman behind the counter a very polite I'm very helpful I gave him a $5 tip just because he was so nice

Best Maryland Blue Crabs and seafood! Heavy crabs filled with loads of jumbo, lump and claw meat spiced and steamed for my exact pick-up time. Talk about a first-rate operation!
