Chestnut Hill Brewing Company reviews
19 I’ve been here many times, and it’s hands down my top spot for pizza in Chestnut Hill. The crispy brussel sprouts, fire pit salad, and white pie are absolute must-tries. The dog-friendly outdoor area, along with live music on weekend nights, creates a fantastic vibe for a delightful date night.
However, they use separate kitchens, causing occasional delays in receiving appetizers/salads after the pizza. Additionally, utensils are sometimes forgotten when serving these items. Despite these downsides, the fantastic food and overall atmosphere keep me coming back, hoping they’ll improve these minor issues.
Great beers always on tap, live entertainment on a regular. There is multiple spots to get food from in the market depending on the time, but the pizza is dam good there.
Such a great place! Solid vegan options, great bar food, and fantastic drinks! Can’t wait to go back
Amazing experience every time! Definitely get the Pilsner and smashed chicken burger! I always enjoy the experience, and I go there frequently!
We were lucky enough to have a large group of students from Arcadia University converge on Chestnut Hill Brewing. The food and beers were perfect - highly recommend the CBR pizza and Crispy Brussel Sprouts. The outdoor beer garden’s heaters kept us warm and allowed us to enjoy our night. Staff was flexible with our needs, efficient, and friendly! 12/10 will go again!
Pizza was just okay. Crust was amazing! But the ranch dressing left something to be desired. The dressing left an aftertaste, that I am assuming came from the mayonnaise used. Would not get this particular pizza again, but would gladly go back to try different toppings.
All of the staff were outstanding, the Executive Chef, Daniel Berrett personally visited our group to see if we were enjoying our meal, he also sent us complimentary dessert! Our group enjoyed the experience from start to finish, and will definitely be visiting Chestnut Brewing Company in the near future. Thanks Chestnut Hill Brewing conpany!
Wow, Chestnut Hill Brewing Company is off the charts. 10/10, easily! Will be back for sure.
Had the buffalo cauliflower and mushroom ragout pasta (it’s actually called cauliflower cream rigatoni on the menu… if you love mushrooms, this is the dish!) … both vegan. I’m vegan and my daughter is not. We shared both and she couldn’t believe it was vegan and both loved this meal! 100% recommend and cool vibe. We didn’t drink, but if you do, great options too.
There's a nice outdoor space where you can order a beer and a pizza. The service is prompt. Dogs are allowed. It's a cool scene.
Loved the atmosphere and the service. Just not a place for small children. Staff was nice but you could tell if they don't normally get many
Whether it's dine-in food or to-go cans or growlers of small batch beer, you can't go wrong.
Love, love, love Chestnut Hill Brewing Company. The only negative thing to say is I wish the space was bigger and that they offered a few more items on their menu. BUT! That's me stretching to not gush over them. The beer is amazing, the food they do offer, especially their pizza, is amazing, and the staff is super nice and friendly and, they don't suffer from the usual issue of other similar places owned/run by millennials (and I'm one myself, so not a "boomer" hating on younger people lol) - they understand customer service, business, and bust their butts off to provide a great experience from start to finish!
Cool craft beer distillery! Enjoyable selection of unique IPA's seasonal creations! And add to that wood fired pizza and it's a win win!
A mini Reading Terminal, this is a great place to pick up breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert. From fresh baked goods (awesome cinnamon buns and brownies) to rib eye cheesesteaks to down south BBQ to Indian cuisine, this place has just about just anything to satisfy your family's hungry belly. There's also plenty of outdoor seating and special lighting to make this a great spot for a spontaneous date or business meeting. Check for business hours and have a great time!
My favorite vegan pasta and pizza! Their seasonal Pesto Bucatini is my go-to but the Cauliflower Cream Rigatoni is delicious, as well. I've been vegan for over ten years and their Forager Pizza is the best I've ever had. The staff is friendly and the location is perfect, next to Market at the Fareway. An essential dining destination in Chestnut Hill!
Small but great, CHB had about 5 of their own beers and a few guest taps when we visited on a Sunday afternoon. Plenty of room to sit at a table or the bar. The beers were delicious and the bartender was great. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area!
Amazing food and great service!
I took my family from out of town here and they loved it. We got some of the best service we've ever experienced. Also one of us is vegan and the server was really helpful with that. All of the food was delicious and came out quickly. The restaurant was also very clean and although the main area was loud (at the bar) the back where we sat was quiet.
Amazing location I would definitely recommend going here for any occasion.
Great place to take a date or hang with friends on a summer day/night. A delightful array of cuisine options offered by very attentive staff. Parking can be tight.
Pizza was excellent, beers were good, service was fast and friendly. Everyone was super nice and approachable. Dog friendly! Server got our pup water like he was one of the guests!
