Chickie's & Pete's, Philadelphia PA

Great experience. I had about 15-18 people in my party and the food was served promptly, it was hot and delicious. Our server, Brooke, was a happy, attentive, thoughtful person with an effervescent personality. She was awesome and she took care of all of us. MUCH RESPECT BROOKE! Anyway, the environment was relaxing, airy, and everyone was cool. I highly recommend the Chickie's & Pete's Restaurant (Roosevelt Blvd.location).

This bar is a philly icon. I went there to see a local band.they have an area separate from the main bar/dining area for live music- which is good for diners. The food is very good and there were a lot of families eating there. If you are in the area looking for a good time, its a good bet you'll find it here.

Was there to enjoy some live music in the back room.very busy with only one waitress for the whole room.service was slow due to the large amount of people.
Only good part about that, we saved money on fewer drinks.
Doubt we will do that again.

Not as good as it was a number of years ago. They have gotten to big and too commercial and now lack the quality they used to have. The food now tastes corporate and pre-packaged, not authentic as it used to be.

We went on Thursday 10/14 around 4ish and just wanted a few drinks, the bartender was great! I didn't get his name but he made me a drink I never had before and it was delicious! Can't wait to come back to have it again!

It was our first time at the Chickie’s & Pete’s. We order the Philly cheesesteak, burgers and pizza. Everything was good and perfectly cooked. The fries were delicious with their secret recipe. We enjoyed it! The waitress was very friendly and helpful. It was a game day and the Eagles were winning so it a was very cheerful environment. We had a great time. (And I forgot to take more pictures)

A must experience, must eat in Philly! Go for the sports, stay for the crab fries and energetic Philly fans atmosphere! Super fun with a family / friends group or a cool but casual sports fan date.

Great clam shower. It ends there, they offer two chicken whatevets for lunch one buffalo. Waitress couldn't rxplain the difference i did not want too much breading. Well i got chicken that looks like it hoed through a deli slicer. Then gets breaded and fried. You'll find better product at McDonald's or wendys. Should have just sent it back and not paid for it.

Ok so the food was decent and the only reason I’m giving 4 stars are because the crab fries were AWESOME! Both the burger and salmon sandwich were dry and bland, really lacking in flavor. I was surprised that my salmon was dry because this is a seafood spot and their other seafood dishes are pretty good. Might have just been a bad day for the cook but the restaurant was not busy at all… Anyway I’ll still go back for those crab fries!

Bar tender on bar left was a nice young man. As far as food, not as good as ppl say it is. Crab fries had too too much seasoning when I requested very light seasoning. Fried shrimp was overcooked, Chicken Italiano sandwich was the worst. I was expecting grilled chicken on a soft roll, instead I got about 2 huge pieces of chicken tenders on a hard seeded roll which made it hard to bite. 2 bites & I didn't finish it. An original chicken Italiano is made with grilled chicken, roasted peppers, & fresh mozzarella cheese on a soft roll. Overrated place

Horrible service! I waited an hour for snow crab legs, everyone at the table got their order, clams were under cooked and my bf got the wrong order, our waitress looked as if she did not want to be there. Worst of all It was not even busy. I do not recommend this place.

Love it! One of my fave Philly spots! Crab fries! This is the first place I want to go when I fly back to Philly from Florida!

The food we had was good, but not worth the price since sandwiches don't come with fries or anything. The biggest reason for 3 stars is the due to the food coming out so far apart. It was about 20 minutes between the first person getting their food and the last. I mean, I was done before they even got their burger. Just not a satisfying experience.

Had the chicken parmesan sandwich, very messy! Quiet night we were in and out quickly. Recommended for bar food but again food can be messy.

I ordered takeout today, and I ordered sweet potato fries and the original fries and I noticed that I was given less of the sweet potato fries and more of the original fries. The fries were good but the amount was not what I expected. I can say the sweet potato fries tasted better than the original. The amount should be the same as the original.

Arrived at 7: 50 and was told it was a 30-35 minutes wait. Even checked back twice to be told we were almost ready to be seated. Can’t understand when you are sitting here with two kids that not once were we approached by one employee in the whole hour and 20 minutes to assure seating was coming up. Then to top it off we were finally sat but all the way in the back room with one other family that was leaving, when there was 4 opened booths right up front. My kids said it felt like we were being punished for asking twice about our seats.

My experience was going great until my group had to order. I don’t like talking so I asked my friend to order for me beacause we were getting the same thing. She asked for 2 buffalo, boneless wings. When the server came back to give us our food they only came back with 1 order of the wings. They said they would see if it is in the back, it has been 5 minutes, everyone has there food.
