Valerie is extremely rude and so unprofessional. I was referred to them by my children’s school because I am a single parent and don’t have anyone to help me. At first she was okay to talk to on the phone and I was directed to go there and put my name down. When I arrived at the center I was greeted by a very nice employee who handed me a packet to fill out and was talking to me about the program. When I was still there talking to the employee Valerie called that employee and was screaming at her for spending too much time with me. I was completely in shock that Valerie would scream at an employee while a costumer is still there. I was also concerned that considering Valerie wasn’t in the building at the time, did another employee call Valerie to complain that someone was helping me? !? !? I was even more astounded when Valerie herself called me after I had left and proceeded to yell at me for taking up her employees time and that she never directed me to fill out an application to only put my name down! What? ! Excuse me? ! I was handed a packet to fill out when I walked in! Also, my autistic daughter was very frightened after we had left and said the other staff member forced her to clean up another child mess and begged me not to send her back. I wasn’t planning to. If Valerie treats her employees like that in-front of parents, I can only imagine how nasty she is behind closed doors.

I wouldn’t recommend this care to anyone. I’ve been lied to, & have dealt with disrespect & inconsistencies. They were unable provide the absolute best care for my child, in which indirectly they have given up on my child. It’s sad to say, the patience, tolerance, consistency, & respect isn’t mutual. Unfortunately, given the urban communities & families, this facility wouldn’t survive given any type of issues your children May have, because they have no capability to handle it.

My experience with children of God Educational Service has been phenomenal Valerie is a real Christian to every letter of the word she has helped me numerous times on different occasions with children that I have been raising even waiting for the funding I came to her about Tristan he goes to children of God and I explained to her that I was having some educational problems and that he was so far behind because he hadn't been in school and that he was having a hard time learning she said to me tell the school that I will be picking him up for now on I was like are you serious she said tell Ms Rosado and his teachers that I will be picking him up from now on and now Tristan can write his name he knows his alphabet he knows how to write them he can recognize them he can write a sentence and he can read a sentence this is all because special person said that education was bigger than them and that's Valerie Hamilton

My child has been going to COG for almost 2 years. The programs they offer are all great! Ms. Valerie and her staff are all very caring and welcoming. It took my child sometime to adjust from being home after the pandemic and they were all very patient during this transition! My child was WELL prepared for Kindergarten thanks to this wonderful school! They also offer an awesome summer camp that you do not want to miss out on for your child. 10/10 Highly recommend!

Mrs. Valerie from COG is one of the most amazing hearts I have ever met. She's caring, kind and loves every student that walks through her school doors like her own. My daughter has thrived since started COG, and hates missing school. I'm glad we were blessed with such caring teachers at COG.

2 of my children attend COG. I can not rave enough about this place. The COG staff make my children feel special and safe. They are always doing fun activities that stimulate my kids minds. The building is clean and secure. The staff are well trained, and they treat everyone with love, respect, and compassion. Educating my kids in academics is important but COG offers that extra moral/spiritual education As soon as my youngest is old enough, rest assured, they will also go to Children of God!

Children of god is a great place, my son goes there and they take great care of him. They also, work with you when it comes to your income. The teachers are very friendly and my son his learned a lot form there. The best part is that they teach the children about god and help them understand god in a way they can understand at their young age. I would recommend Children of god to anyone who is looking for a great place for their child to learn.

The team @ COG provides great before and after care for both my children. Everyone is very friendly, helpful and trustworthy. Valerie and Chrissy are very caring and knowledgeable and will work with you. The center offers ALL day care to the kids when they have school holidays. Saving me from looking for childcare elsewhere on those off days. Something unheard of in other facilities. My kids homework is always done when I picked them up which is great! COG does alot of activities and festivities that my kids really enjoy. They have a fantastic holiday party! This facilities really cares and goes above and beyond for the children and it shows. My kids and I are looking forward to all the great summer activities and trips in their summer program. I highly recommend COG!

I wish I would of found COG earlier! Mrs. Valerie and her staff are amazing with my children, I had a horrible experience with the last school we were at, then we found COG! Im so happy that I choose COG, my kids actually want to go to school every day, thank you COG!

I would give COG 10 stars if I could! The best children’s center that I’ve experienced. Ms. Valerie is very intelligent, helpful, caring and passionate about the work that she does. It was evident since the first phone call inquiring about services. COG staff- exceptional! You can tell they are treated with respect and love. My daughter now reads everything on her own, counts everything, does sign language and pretends to be a teacher- without me! Lol I could go on and on…oh and I love that the Pastor comes and spends time with the children!

My son has been going to COG for multiple months and I have to say they have been nothing but great! I already signed up for my son to go next year and enrolled him in the summer camp. My son always has good things to say about his school day when he comes home

We’ve been using them for years now for daily pre/after care for our sons school and the summer camp. Love it here they treat him like family and they teach him great values!

Cog has been a great program for my children the last few yrs they have attended. Miss Valerie is the owner and she has always been so kind and helpful in any and all ways possible. Her staff is one of a kind. I am grateful for COG in more ways than I can explain.

We have used Children of God for after school care for our 2 boys for a number of years now. They are well organized with homework time as well as many other activities. This includes time outdoors at the near by park or walks down at the wharf. They have been especially accommodating with my younger son with special needs. They are also happy to help with add-on days for school holidays. And most importantly our children always have good things to say when we pick them up.
Our family would highly recommend Children of God for your child care needs.

Valerie is wonderful and has worked with me on what I can afford for aftercare and summer camp for both of my children. My youngest loves it there and my oldest will have a fun and safe camp environment with her little sister for the summer. Highly recommend them.

COG Educational Program provide professional, nurturing, healthty, friendly, challenging educational experience in a learning environment that challenges young learners to there full learning capacity. COG highly support events in our community and encourages past students to participate through numerous volunteer opportunities. Great program, great staff members, great students this program produces. Lastly, I l9ve the embracement of all culture and religion.
