Children's Dental Centre of York

I am so thankful that I found Children’s Dental Centre of York! This is the third practice I’ve taken my child to, who has Down Syndrome, and needs special care for his teeth. The entire staff was kind and caring and made him feel so comfortable and cared about. They were very thorough and knowledgeable about his condition and his teeth are sparkling! My only regret is that I didn’t find them sooner! According to my experiences, they are by far the best in York and Lancaster combined. 5 stars is just not enough!

This is absolutely the best dentist my daughter has been to. All of the staff in its entirety are so welcoming, patient, and kind. Walking in to the waiting area, you’re immediately welcomed by a smiling face who makes sure to not only greet me, but greet my child as well. The hygienist & Dr. Amber equally have made sure to take their time with my daughter, having their primary focus be on BUILDING a relationship with her. It’s transparent enough that my daughter’s comfortability is their utmost priority. It makes my mama heart overflow knowing she’s in such good hands with people who want the absolute best outcome for her.
My insurance isn’t even taken here, yet I will continue to pay out of pocket to ensure that CDCY remains my child’s primary dentist. They are just SOO good and go above & beyond. Highly, highly recommend to anyone.

This is the BEST dentist we've ever taken our son to! He has special needs so he gets very worked up when being held down. Everyone was so calming, patient and kind. I feel they provide the only way we can get his teeth cleaned without being fully sedated. If you have someone with special needs or Autism, this is the BEST dentist to go to! If I could give 100 stars I would!

Dr. Amber and Dr. Angie are awesome! They listen to you and are gentle with my children. All the dental hygienists are great! They are so calm and are able to make my children comfortable getting their teeth cleaned! They talked with my kids, answered their questions and our questions! They are amazing workers in that office including those at the front desk! Thank you all for taking care of our children!

Everyone is so nice! As a mom of a special needs child it was very comforting that all the staff was super nice and explained everything step by step. Definitely recommend!

Very impressed with the team! Everyone was so friendly. My child is skittish and became enamored with the everyone she met. She asked to come back! And for a child that has had some skittish moments. This is everything I could have asked for.

This place is incredible! Absolutely excellent staff from the receptionist to the nurses and Doctor. They are excellent in everything the do and really care for the children.

Fantastic customer service from the moment you step in the door to the time you check out. My girls had a fantastic experience thanks to Tiffany, Anita and Dr Angie. They love going to the dentist!

Dr. Amber was amazing! The whole staff is great from the time you walk in the door to when you’re leaving. We love this office.

They were great! Explained everything to me and my child before doing anything. Great team work! They were patient and kind with our two year old and she walked out smiling and happy! I recommend 100% to any family in need of a dentist.

Everyone was so nice! Dr. Angie was amazing with my 6 yr old. She’s had some traumatic experiences at other dentist offices but she was completely at ease here! They also got her an appointment right away, which was very surprising considering the wait time for other local dentist’s. Would highly recommend!

My kids will never go anywhere else. Dr Angie and her staff are amazing! From check in to check out they did everything they could to make my son feel comfortable.

This practice goes above and beyond always. Having a special needs non-verbal child can cause terrible anxiety. However the staff at CDCY goes at the pace of the patient. Taking the time needed for a successful cleaning and visit.

My 5 and 3 year olds always look forward to their check ups. Staff are friendly and make children feel welcome and not afraid. Highly recommend
