I took a year of adult services and was taught no coping skills.
I went through the proper stages to get my son evaluated cause I believe he's on the Spectrum for autism and displays behavior that prevents me from working. My son sat in a corner with markers and was never interacted with during the evaluation. I was just questioned and felt like I wasn't taken seriously.and was offered adult services when I was there for MY SON not me.now we may be homeless soon because I'm a single mom no family help. I just feel like the ball was dropped on us both. I didn't get the help I needed at all and neither did my son.
My son was in daycare 2 days and was removed from the program because of his issues.

Went here when I was younger. My therapist told my parents everything I said to him, and at the age I was at the time, this was illegal since none of the revealed information was about any harm to myself or others. Send your children here if you are a controlling helicopter parent, send them somewhere else if you love and respect them.

Being the mom of 3 plus bonus mom to 4, our blended family has utilized this facility on and off for years because Luzerne County does not have many resources to choose from. Some of the experience's have not been to my liking and wouldn't recommend their services because when you call to schedule they don't call back, certain employees are just flat out rude but there are a handful that were awesome but limited due to their employer, and their services are lacking (therapist don't see the kids as often as they should). With mental health on the rise, it seems as if all they care about is the money and not the well being of the patient and family. On several occasions I have been disappointed with their services, enough to be dissatisfied. My suggestion would be to look elsewhere for your child's mental health and well being.

I’ve been going to this place since like 2014. It was a great place, but not anymore. For some reason, they keep calling my parents numbers for phone appointments and scheduling. I have even corrected the receptionist and doctor several times with my own number. (I am an adult now and no longer legally need my parents involved, and I don’t live at home anymore). Also, they say they will call to schedule my next appointment but never do. It seems they schedule me for whenever they feel right instead of calling me. I get no reminders over text, call or email about these random appointments so I don’t even know when they are. I don’t know until my parents get a call from the doctor. I can never call back due to being in college classes all day and my parents are at work. Anytime I do answer to correct things, the same issue occurs over and over again. I’ve been trying to figure this out for months. Working with them is impossible.

Me and my daughter both come here for therapy and medication. We love our therapists and I have never encountered a rude employee.

This place is a joke and could care less about helping children! I have desperately been trying to receive help for my child’s extreme anxiety and to get my child tested for adhd … and it has been a mission I pay almost $100 every visit (with my insurance) and all they do is sit there and color for a half hour then I try to get my child tested for adhd they make me wait over a two months to get the appointment just to say I canceled it when I most certainly did not! I had to pull my child out of school early and miss a day of work for them to cancel on me! Another time I went and they wrote the time wrong on my card and told me I missed it and I still had to pay and I drive 45 min to bring my child there! Please parents beware of this place as they could care less about the children they just want money! I would give them negative stars if I could! Absolutely disgusting and horrible!

This one star is for the receptionists! Shame on you! As most people know once a child is 14 they go in on their own as they are legally in charge of their own mental health. The receptionists tasked with signing in the patients are ignorant and berating. Lots of people who are looking for treatment are working through depression, anxiety, PTSD and many other things. So its sad that the first person they see when they walk in the door makes them feel uncomfortable. My daughter went to sign in and one was on the phone so naturally she went to the other one available. She didn't notice a little hand written note one had placed on her window and sat in the chair. The receptionist went absolutely crazy and started screaming at her and threw a temper tantrum and started tearing the hand written note down. Screaming at my daughter saying why bother no body can read or have respect so why did i waist my time putting this hear.she went on and on and on. My daughter who is 17 felt so embarrassed, belittled, and ashamed. Its hard for some people to reach out for help so the first person they see shouldn't treat them this way. The receptionists need sensitivity training and just basic human decency. Also to add: This is not the first time it has happened to her or I. Its an ongoing issue.

Very helpful staff. I've been dealing with this institution since 2014 and no complaints yet. The school has been a God sent and helped my family with many behavior and emotional needs.

Let’s people go uncared for when they’re unsafe. I would never bring my child to this office. They’ve been sued for not properly caring for a child that went on to murder a man. Dr. Khan is particularly terrible.
