Chinatown Beer Garden reviews
13We waited over 2 1/2 hours for food that never came. The waiter would only come by every half an hour (at most) and kept saying "it'll be ready in 5 minutes" each time which honestly made it worse when food ultimately never showed. We asked for a refund and they still charged us for an appetizer we never got. So I asked for an entire refund (drinks included) for having to sit for almost 3 hours and got attitude for even asking? So we still had to pay for our drinks (we also had to keep adding money to our parking meter.). This is more of a bar for people to like watch games, than to chill outdoors and eat and drink. I also don't think it's technically a "beer garden" because they don't have any beer on tap. The actual indoor part attached is under construction and the bathrooms were vile.
Awesome place with good beer, good spirits, Cornhole, beer pong, Jenga, cards, and a great environment. Service was a bit slow, but it wasn't a big deal.
Fun atmosphere, great food + drinks, and excellent customer service! Every member of the staff was so nice and went out of their way to ensure we had a nice time! Shoutout to the manager and Eric especially!
I wish I got my servers name but he was very attentive and helpful when another female employee could barely leave her conversation to show me properly where the bathroom was seeing as it’s inside a building they’re remodeling. He gets a 10/10 for service and I will be coming back again the wings were delicious
My 1st time at the place, my friends DJ there, Solar sounds and other great DJs. It was nice event with variety of crowds and vendors. Friendly staffs and chill vibe.
This place was horrible the food was terrible they overcharged us for two cocktails that we didn’t have, no one seemed to have a clear understanding in how to serve. I’ve done this for 14 years. Try again! Don’t go here it’s terrible! Sorry!
Fantastic selection of beers including a lot of Japanese beers. I didn't get to try the food but the atmosphere is a nice respite on the middle of the city.
Great place love the atmosphere and vibes. Food was amazing and really good drinks. Would definitely recommend
A beer garden without beer on tap? Seriously? Only one true IPA but that was Lagunitas at $8 a bottle.
Food was mediocre. Service was friendly but we had to find our own napkins. Canned music was loud and annoying. Live music was good.
Watch the total as they automatically add a 20% tip so don’t add to that unless you want to.
We won’t go back.
The people leaving these reviews are cheap and uncultured. Very cute spot - Dj booth and happy hour 4-7 on weekends! Exactly what Chinatown needs. Staff was very friendly and attentive.
Go somewhere else, 65 dollars for 2 beers, 1 appetizers and 1 entree?
20% tip automatically added?
No draft beer … in a beer garden?
Cool outdoor spot in Chinatown to get a get a drink, that attracts a hip crowd. Service is great, but the food and drink is overpriced for what you get. They don't have any taps here, so all the beer is bottles/cans.
This place is run by kids pretending to be adults. As a result, be prepared to hear "I'm sorry" at all the time. Your simple orders will be screwed up and your bill will have items that you didn't order. The place is filthy, surroundings are unpleasant, drinks are watery and way overpriced. All in all, do yourself a favor and stay away from this dump.
