Chocolate Works reviews
7 Alright, been hanging around here for about 4 months now. The Chocolate Works gives off a friendly vibe with cool workers (very friendly concierge), and it's got a charm that's nice but doesn't cut it for the long haul (at least not for me). Some units are like living in a fishbowl – you can practically hear your neighbors breathe, which wasn't on my radar during research. Now, I'm stuck in a unit where I'm always wondering if they can hear my every word. Heads up, if your place has exposed wood, you're in for the same deal. Oh, and the dryer? It stinks, literally. Small loads only, and it chewed up some of my clothes. On the bright side, the amenities are cute – gym, library, you name it. Plus, the location near parking under the Ben Franklin Bridge is pretty sweet. It's a cute spot with good folks, but certain units are a bit of a mess. Do your homework before you commit. Unfortunately, I'm stuck in one of the quirky ones.
PS: will give updated review if things change for better or worse.
Hope this place goes out of business for destroying a work of art. Pure garbage.
Absolute shame on this apartment complex for appealing a decision that would’ve allowed for the preservation of Zagar’s Painted Bride. They’re response to the review above is almost as insulting, stating they appealed the zoning because it was for a high rise building when they themselves are a high rise building with the same if not more stories than the 7 story building that was proposed and would’ve saved the city’s art. Being overly defensive when all the facts are available to the public is really embarrassing for you.
Shame on the owner of Chocolate Works for appealing the preservation of Painted Bride mosaic mural. These works of art are so important to Philadelphia's identity and celebration of arts and culture. You and residents who worked to appeal the approved design to preserve it should be ashamed of yourselves.
It was incredible. We arrive at the agreed time and accepted by you.we stayed on the street and yesterday we had to find another accommodation in the middle of the night.
BAD BAD BAD
I have felt cheated. I booked correctly on BOOKING and when I arrive at the apartments the concierge tells us that they don't allow reservations on BOOKING.
It is a lie, since Booking has informed us that Chocolate works works with them. They are liars and the person in charge was not at her job in the building.
Finally we have had to find another hotel and pay for it. But the worst thing is that the Chocolate works managers have not contacted us.liars, They had actually rented more apartments than they had.
