Dr. Pagnani is in a league of his own. Before finally finding him in 2014, I searched for over 20 years for the right provider and was disappointed at every turn. Chris is an excellent Addiction Psychiatrist and I refer to him regularly for medication management of my individual clients looking for help in Philadelphia. As an Addiction Psychologist myself in Philadelphia and Montgomery County providing mostly individual and group weekly drug and alcohol counseling and other therapies it is a challenge to find the right physician to treat clients who have the need for medication assessment in addition to our individual therapy. Chris has managed some difficult cases with me when our patients have needed help for anxiety, depression and attention deficit disorder. Seventy percent of people who abuse drugs have some sort of mental illness and a good majority of them seem to benefit from medication assisted therapies. I drive from NJ to see Dr. P because I don't want to be seen at a local office or support group. He helped me with some serious issues that could have cost me my job (and was able to do it all outpatient- I never missed work). He also actually listened and helped me with an anxiety problem that I think was the reason why I was really struggling. He's a normal guy (which is rare in his field). He's expensive, but a few hundred bucks to keep your job and actually feel good about your life is worth it.
