Food truck on brookline blvd. Had a shredded beef arepa and Gouda bacon empanada! WOW! So good! Can't wait for more!

I had an arepa (maracucha) and empanada (black bean & cheese) from their food truck at the Neighborhood Flea today and both were amazing! Fresh, hot, and delicious flavors. I will definitely be checking out their location in South Side!

Little take away shop that is true to Venezuelan cuisine. As a white American I would say the meats seem to be loved a bit more than a traditional central American dish and there is an emphasis on fried ingredients. The sandwiches and sauces are excellent. I love the fresh big slices of cheese they use as well. It's not as salty or overworked as traditional Mexican tacos or burritos. Sauces aren't as spicy and tend to have more earthy flavors than say pepper spice. Small seating area with somewhat annoying parking.

I came here at the recommendation of my brother in law and was not disappointed.

We had the Pabellon & Reina Pepiada Arepas. They were very different and both delicious. I have always loved plantains!

We had a side of the Tequenos which have a ton of cheese in them. The street corn was perfect. The brown lemonade is different in the best of ways. I do wish the cups were bigger!

We will visit again!

Flavor 10.
They sell Venezuelan sweets.
What impressed me most was seeing so many locals eating pavilion with fried egg.

The best Venezuelan food in the city (and the best I’ve had). The pabellón arepas are amazing, and the yucca fries are perfect with the green sauce.

Really good food and great service. You can even pick up some items you don't typically see at a regular grocery store. I grabbed a bag of plantain chips that were really good. Stop here for something new and different!

Small place with some local charm. Parking was easy on this part of E. Carson Street as there is on street parking with payment. The restaurant looked clean and we were the only ones there. Ordered at counter and was told that it would be 15 minutes to get our food. Way too long as we were the only ones there. But apparently pick up orders get priority.

Food came. We had to ask for silverware, napkins, straws, etc. Everything. Server/counter person had no clue to think ahead.
Tasted arepa and it was good. I had the beef. The green sauce that accompanied it was too salty, so I used very little of it. Otherwise I enjoyed the arepa flavors. I also ordered the corn (off the cob) because it said it was a specialty. It was a mayonnaise mess. I did not know that is how it was prepared as it is not written anywhere. I thought it was roasted corn with some butter or oil. Nope. Swimming in mayo. It was gross and I barely ate any of it. My friend ordered it on the cob and returned the first one because of too much mayo then ate half of the second one because it was still too much, but better.

I don't know if we hit an off day, but on a regular Friday, this place is not worth it. I won't go back. In addition to the food and service challenges, the prices were high at $20 for one arepa, the corn and a diet Coke.

Such amazing food, one of the best places you can eat in Pittsburgh. Very authentic but it won't intimidate picky eaters. Can't recommend this place enough. Please support this amazing restaurant.

I was with my wife and daughter and the attention from the lady was lousy, rude and very unpleasant, she did not have the delicacy to explain the variety of the picadas or the empanadas apart, she throws things away as if they were given away.

I’m a new customer to this restaurant and I honestly had high expectations, to be honest the food is good but i’ve been there 5 times and those 5 times I’ve been mistreated, from waitresses just slamming the food to my table and giving attitude every time they are taking my order, you gotta look out for better training on your staff

Great authentic Venezuelan food my mom would have been proud of. They even carry Torontos! To make this place even better, I would suggest they play Venezuelan music and have photographs and paintings on their walls of Caracas, Maracaibo, Angel Falls, toros coleados, Margarita Island.

The most authentic Venezuelan food I've had in Pittsburgh! Super high quality meats and ingredients. Definitely recommend the patacones, arepas, and pepitos.

Not the friendliest lady at the counter at all, but the place did seem a bit understaffed when I went. Food and setting was "eh. " Got GI upset shortly after I left.

We'd walked past this place all week and never during their open hours. Finally lucked out about 30 minutes before they closed and ordered the pork and Gouda arepa to go. Y'all. It was the best thing I ate in Pittsburgh. The pork was moist and flavorful and the cheese was piled on thick and the arepa cornmeal was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside and Y'ALL, the green sauce that came with it - it was GARLICY.
We stood on the sidewalk like vultures making sounds like starving people.
Cash or card.

I love their Arepa Pabellon! Their arepa is more bigger than Arepittas in Downtown I think My husband and I always get stuffed!
