Circle Drive-In reviews
19We love going here, always fun, good quality sound, great quality picture on the movie screen, very clean, plenty of parking & great friendly staff.
This is an updated review since I had complained about someone working on their car during the movie. I complained about this experience and I was contacted by the manager who is sending me some free passes which is awesome and makes all the difference to me. I have not received the passes yet but I hope to receive them soon and can't wait to come back. I will update this when I receive the passes.it's great to know that the manager cares about the customers!
It's a blast from the past and I love the flea market and the movies. Though I do miss the double feature but I understand you gotta keep up with the times and everything is going up, up, up in price.
Haven't been to a drive in since I was a kid was amazing, STILL needs better lighting, glow in dark paint so no one gets hurt
If you wanna real old fashion flea market with good old haggle able prices and American made stuff. Got go. Old stuff but good stuff
Love the flea market! Never know what you're going to find there. Great staff, great movie showings, and best of all is the haunt! It's honestly my favorite thing about the Circle Drive In.
Have been going here for years. Great place to see movies. Great for families to see a movie. Love when they have double features. Very clean.
The experience could be better. Instead of relying just on the car/phone radio, they can provide attached speakers at regular distance.
What a great place to relive the drive in experience of our childhood. Saw Bullet Train. Great picture and sound quality. Nice concession stand selection. Friendly staff. Free transistor radio to hear the movie so you don’t have to use your car radio.
My boyfriend and I decided to take a night out and go see the new Jurassic Park Movie. First he decided to go to the snack bar and get a few things he made two trips. The first trip he bought popcorn which was probably made an hour before the movie even started you could tell it was already stale. Next he had also bought two cokes which were so watered down and flat I literally thought he had bought me iced tea. Probably due to the fact that the sodas were pre-poured in batches to be sold instead of making them to order. God only knows how long the drinks were sitting as the ice inside them was melting. He then bought me a soft pretzel that literally tasted like cardboard even the Auntie Anne’s pretzel from the grocery store had a better flavor then the one we purchased. The Final trip he made he had gotten an order of nachos that the bag was 1/4 of the way full with chips. At that point we both agreed that we should’ve stopped for food beforehand. The food was so disappointing & you would think it would be better because this place has so much potential to be so much more but continues to stay subpar.
By 12 everyone started packing it up. Supposed to be 6-2 most just had enough I guess. Good deals but by 1245 3/4 of the vendors were gone
One of our favorite places on a summer night. It brings back memories of when I was a kid and it makes memories for our grandkids. Sitting in the bed of truck with soda and popcorn. They do a good job of keeping the mosquito population down. Now if we can only get the car manufacturers to make a "drive in" mode so your lights go out and the radio doesn't shut off after 45 min.
I love coming here for date night! It's such a great experience. I just wish there was a sign/some sort of reminder for people to turn off their headlights.there's always at least 2!
I used to like going to this flea market. Lately hasn’t been that great. We went once this year. It was cold. They raised the paring fee form 50€ to $1.00 which is understandable except when we parked there was hardly anyone there. Maybe 10 or 15 stands and they were so spread apart you had walk the whole thing if you wanted to see all stands. First off maybe the guy taking parking fee should leave you know when there isn’t many vendors and let us decide if it’s worth paying $1.00.2nd when you don’t have many vendors why not just have them all setup in one area instead making us walk the whole thing? Just a suggestion.
Hands down the best place in Northeast PA to go for. A flea market. Great deals everywhere and this one guy there sells Hot Wheels which is perfect for my kids. Prices are amazing for them too.
I love that you can actually see the screen and that everyone respects each other. The staff is the sweetest and the prices aren't bad. They also have flea markets on Saturday and Sunday mornings this place is too awesome. If you are in PA I really suggest coming at least once. Like you get to watch a movie or two in your car in pjs if you like. Hope everyone that comes across this review has a wonderful day. BTW No I don't work here I just love them.
I've grown up coming here. I bring my son every summer now. I love this place! Highly recommend to anyone who lives or visits the area!
Lovewhen you got live bands don't fear the reaper Godzilla I will comeif you get more bands like that. Quiet riot works cheap marshal tucker
Sadly, our first time ever going was terrible. Website said 9 o'clock start. Movie finally started at 10. Having a bigger family, with some smaller children, we couldn't all hear, as we all sat outside of the vehicle like basically everyone else. Many rude people talking loudly like they were at a party, car next to us kept running their vehicle, making it even harder to hear. We had to leave well before the movie was over. Waste of almost $65.
