We have gotten Circles & Squares twice so far, and we truly hope to become regulars. The cheesesteak? Fantastic—anyone using cooper sharp knows what’s up. The green pie? Elite. The buffalo chicken? Sublime. But the thing that is really prompting me to leave a review is this: I have tasted Caesar salads all across this fair city; and none, I repeat NONE, have delighted me as much as Circles & Squares’. I want to eat it every day. The dressing is perfect—tangy and light, but still creamy and flavorful. I will never place an order here without getting this salad. Overall, every single thing from here has been high quality and delish!

Great little local pizza spot. Ordered a 16 inch circle pie and could not have been happier with it. Also had curly fries and pickled long hots which hit the spot. The window person was exceptionally friendly and I waited 5 minutes less than originally told for my order which rarely happens anywhere these days. Food and Service 5 stars, and only rated atmosphere 3 stars because it is just outdoors, still cool benches and a long standing table to eat at. Will be going back for sure.

Best Detroit style in 100 mile radius! Had the "square" with pepperoni. It's light, it's crunchy, it's sweet, it's fluffy, cheesey but saucey, crispy but not oily; it's everything you want and nothing you don't!
The sauce is sweet, the ingredients are fresh and the dough - the heart of any good pizza - is well made and thoughtful! This didn't happen overnight and I can't wait to see the creations to come. Coming up on their five year anniversary, Hagan and Dan have an amazing corner pizza spot! Don't miss this one!

Really stellar pizza. Amazing spot to stop by. Be quick as pizza can run out quick. But amazing looking building with the chimney. Great proofed dough. Chewy but crisp enough. Nice cheese utilized for the taste.

Probably the best cheesesteak I’ve ever had. Definitely worth the stop if you’re in the area.

Cool local gem with down-to-earth ambiance. The foccacia dough pizza is literally a perfect 10! Taste, texture, complexity. Grab your pie and head on over to Philadelphia Brewing Company and munch while sampling the latest on tap!

The tomato pie is vegan and very good. The square has a thick, crispy crust that’s perfect. The tomatoes taste fresh and there is just enough spice on top.

Take out is usually quick and easy.

Top 2 pizza and top 2 cheesesteak in the city, under one roof (not sure what #1s would be tbh.).

Best pizza in Philly. I am just mad at myself for taking so long to make the journey to try it.

The people are very nice the food is very over rated. I see a lot of best cheesesteaks in Philly and some of the best Pizza in Philly in the reviews and I honestly couldn't disagree more with that. Not all it's cracked up to be in terms of greatest food in Philly. No way.

My husband and I find any excuse to treat ourselves to a trip to the city just for a square from Circles and Squares. We’ve taken friends there, we’ve picked it up to bring it to family dinners, and we recommend it to anyone looking for a great pizza place. To sweeten the pot, the owners/staff could not be better, kinder people. I always look forward to our next Circles and Squares trip!

While I have never been to the lesser Portland of the continental United States, I have been to a gas station that arguably serves the best gas station food on the east coast (even Guy Fieri agrees) and it ain’t in Portland, Maine. I can also attest that Circles + Squares is a grade A operation and remains one of our regional favorites!

Top tier spot and I always make a point to hit it up if I’m in the area. Great pizza, great cheesesteaks!

Circles + Squares is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk up to the takeout window, you can feel the positive vibes and warmth of this place. In a neighborhood (and city) with superior pizza of all different shapes and varieties, Circles + Squares is hands down top-tier. But that's not all—their wings are out-of-this-world are meticulously fried and perfectly delicious, and the cheesesteaks are always fantastic.

What truly sets Circles + Squares apart is their exceptional service. Dan and his incredible team always go above and beyond to ensure that you have an excellent experience. Their attention to detail, friendliness, and dedication to customer satisfaction are second to none.

Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to stop by Circles + Squares for a taste of perfection and a dose of positivity that will leave you smiling. This place is a true treasure.

Way better than any Maine gas station pizza I’ve ever had. And I’ve had a lot of gas station pizza.

Best pizza in Philly. Reminds me of what I grew up eating on Long Island. Wings and cheesesteaks also hit very hard. I moved out to the jersey burbs but still make frequent treks into Kensington for C+S

Consistently great food. Their square pies are insanely good, but don’t sleep on the circles because those also are amazing. Additionally the cheesesteaks are reminiscent of the mainline’s Mamas pizzeria, wings are solid and Caesar salad is delicious. Can’t go wrong, I just wish their hours would be a little earlier and later

Must stop place in Philly. First time here, everyone was extremely nice, friendly and seemed to actually care. The round and the square were both amazing. I highly recommend stopping if you get a chance!

I moved from Philly and miss this spot terribly. Dan and his wife are incredible and it’s awesome to see how the business has grown. Detroit style is incredible - I’ve only had pep or plain but others look great as well. Circles are also very, very good. Awesome spot and couldn’t recommend more

The food here is made like the chef made it for himself. Flavors and techniques meld into what are on the surface simple dishes but done so well. The signature square pies are light and airy pushing all the aroma of the garlic, olive oil in each bite and when you get to the “crust” it is a perfectly cooked crown of crispy fried cheese that tastes like what I imagine angel’s fingers would taste like. The signature circle pies are classics with a nice baked thin dough that is just a vessel for the delicious red sauce and whole milk mozzarella.

Newer dishes like the cheesesteak remind me why the word STEAK is in the name having a sliced steak taste rather than the basket frozen meats a lot of other places use.

Lastly their Cesar salad is so filling and very delicious with the freshly graded parmesan acting like a soft blanket before shaking up the house made dressing and devouring the whole thing mindlessly in nirvana.

I definitely recommend starting with the square pies and then working your way up!
