Today I was waiting at the door when they opened, needing a document notarized right now. The banker opened the door and when I told her what I needed, she said she left her notary stamp at home and informed me that I needed to call ahead and make an appointment for a notary service in the future. It cost me $13 to get it done at the title and tag place. I think I need a new bank!

This is for weeks later.
I needed another document notarized so I called the day before as previously instructed and made an appointment. I arrived five minutes early and waited 30 minutes to see Kath, the personal banker. She then informed me that she needed her manager's approval to notarize certain documents and that I would have to leave her a copy and come back the next day when her manager would return.
So again, I drove down the road and this time spent five dollars to do what they should've done as a free service to a customer. She was rude, and the person who took my phone call was rude. I deposited $28k in my checking account in the last month. I wonder if that would be valued elsewhere? Something is wrong at this bank!

Wendy is terrible. Stay away from this bank. Instead of helping, they just want to give you the run around.

Went in to ask some questions bout being a new customer. Was totally ignored by the bank officer.

Today I went to the bank and I noticed the poor customer service they provided and its getting worse every time,
I was trying to get help through the drive through but the line didn't move at all so I decided to go inside and get it done, I noticed only 3 people were working and one of them was in training which its ok and they were helping to another customer (taking forever) but the other person it seems like she wasn't doing anything but when she decided to help me I explain to her what I need help with and She said: what you need will take time and I don't have time, I will have to help other customer and you have to wait until somebody else is available so I decided to walk away of course frustrated and upset then when she saw I started to walk away she started to calling me to comeback to help me.
3 years ago and before the customer service was good in this bank what happened now? No manager? They don't care about the customers anymore?
I been customer for this bank for at least 8 years having personal and business account (they are not good with Business account either)
shame on citizen bank Main Street

Since covid this bank (Tannersville & Stroudsburg) brances have been terrible. The hours are awful, they are under staffed & the staff changes like the wind. Was told I could NOT deposit a check into my husbands personal account bc I didn't have his acct number. I did have my joint acct card & had to put it there. Asked another teller & they said yes, it can be done as long as I'm only depositing.
They push mobile banking anytime you talk to someone but it doesn't work. Mobile banking took a picture of my check, deposited it, then rejected it & I was charged a bounce check fee!

I deposited a rather large check into my account at a kiosk (COVID or else I would have been at the bank itself) the machine did not deposit the check and never returned it to me. After a lot of panic and calls to file a claim, I asked the check issuer to please go head and cancel it since I was not comfortable with a check sitting in a random ATM. I asked for Citizens to please reimburse the check issuer for the $25 cancellation fee and they refused. Told me I should have kept the claim open and not have cancelled the check. I am sorry I did not want to leave a check stuck in a machine and felt it was my duty to tell my tenant what happened and perhaps to cancel it. I am glad I have someone's best interest at heart because Citizens Bank sure does not do the same for its customers. Over and out, I will drive 45 minutes to the Chase bank to avoid giving them any of my money. I suggest you do the same

Worst bank ever for trying to do anything. Never enough help and you will wait a hour to do a deposit or cash a check. Drive thru is the worst. On Friday and Saturday is when they should have the most people and never do. Manager could care less too.
