I went for my initial visit and I'm pretty impressed. I think this chiropractor might actually be able to help me. I will be leaving updates as time goes on.

The service at this chiropractor office is very good. Starting from the initial visit with the helpful receptionist to the x-rays and range of motion exam to the doctors who are very knowledgeable in this scope of work. In my opinion I would recommend this particular office to anyone looking for chiropractic help.

I can’t even explain how amazing City of Bridges is. I have serious difficulties with my hips. Sometimes I can barely walk. In 1 visit they had my pain reduced substantially and after a regular weekly regimen within 1 month I was out of pain and able to walk without difficulty. Thank you CoB!

I have been dealing w sciatic pain for 2 yrs now. I am only on my third visit, and I feel that Dr. Swauger has done more for me than my personal dr and physical therapist combined! They make me feel welcome every time I am there. Question me before every adjustment to make sure there are no new developments. And even took time to stretch muscles causing my nerve issues along w the basic adjustment. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars because they deserve it. My insurance isn’t covered here, but I will gladly pay out of pocket for services like this! Thank you to the whole staff for being just all around wonderful! I will be referring everyone here!

You’re in good hands when you have to visit here. A very thorough examination and a solid plan to get you back on track and stay on track for the duration.

I had my first visit here today, and I have never in my life felt so considered and catered to in a medical setting. I was given a tour and given very clear explanations of each step of my visit. The staff were so incredibly understanding as I was experiencing significant anxiety regarding my situation. I was even reassured of the (surprisingly low) cost of my visit before any X-Rays were taken or treatment was performed. They immediately scheduled me for a next day follow up visit, and I generally just felt prioritized. Highly recommended this practice!

"It’s Time for America’s Next Great Revolution.

We love underdogs. Perhaps because way back in 1776 we were the ultimate underdog, standing up to the world's super power, and while the world laughed - we fought – we won. Today after centuries of political Independence we as a nation are facing a far greater super power, a super power that enslaves the masses with hopelessness, with sickness, with poison. Turn on the TV at night, open a magazine, surf the internet and what do you see but advertorials suggesting sickness – ask your doctor if … have this test if … You, your immune system is worthless. Natural immunity means nothing, artificial immunity is paramount.
And it’s working! We as a country spend more time, effort and money meddling with early detection and long term management of disease, than we do in prevention of them through lifestyle. Not only are we not preventing many preventable diseases through lifestyle, our lifestyle in many instances is the direct cause! Not many (medical minds included) would have the audacity to suggest that our current system is efficient in maximizing our society’s health. Why do we do it? Because we have been taught to – not because it makes sense but because it makes cents (trillions of times over). What about these following stats scream liberty and freedom?
- Despite the most healthcare spending, Americans are in worse health, die earlier and suffer from more diseases than other wealthy nations. (National Academies Press)
- 24 million children are on ADD/ADHD medications. (The Wall Street Journal)
- 9.6 million children are on antidepressants. (The Wall Street Journal)
- Childhood obesity has more than doubled in children and quadrupled in adolescents in the past 30 years (CDC)
- It has been reported that 70% of Americans take a pharmaceutical drug (CBS News)
If Paul Revere were to make his famous ride today his cry would be “The white coats are coming, the white coats are coming”. Americans would be awakened from their slumber and begin to arm themselves by slipping on their tennis shoes and start their MaxT3, grab a smoothie, run out the door to get their power turned on by a chiropractic adjustment and be ready to defend themselves.
It is time for America’s next great revolution. A revolution that puts liberty and freedom back into Americans lives. A revolution that brings an end to the madness that has been created by belief in a faulty medical system. For this revolution to succeed it must be grassroots –it must start with healthy families right here in Pittsburgh.
Invite your friends and family to experience MaxLiving chiropractic and help them experience freedom and independence from sickness, drugs and disease!
Max Blessings,
Dr. Alex Pattison"

City of Bridges chiropractic is the best place to go to rid yourself of pain. Everyone is super friendly. Megan and Shannon at the desk always greet you smiling as soon as you walk in. Dr. Alex and Dr Swauger are super friendly and very compassionate towards their patients. As a first timer to chiropractic care at the age of 56, I could not have picked a better place to help get rid of my pain! Also need to give a shout out to Jena, she is the nutritionist she is great at getting you on track and super motivating to keep you there as you work towards a healthier you!

City of Bridges Chiropractic is more than just an ordinary chiropractic office where you walk in get adjusted and leave. The whole staff cares about you and the doctors take interest in the entire person not just the one ailment you are coming in for. Since I have been coming to the practice, 07/2022, they have been able to help with my back pain, my GI issues (that I have struggled with for over 15 years), and my anxiety. I am currently pregnant with twins and they are extremely supportive and helpful with controlling symptoms. From the warm welcome to the comforting goodbye each visit, I always leave in a better mood.

I have been coming here since January 2022. I had been dealing with years of back/neck pain due to two car accidents back in 2015. I can’t believe in just a few months that the pain has gone away! As long as you follow their care plan and do the exercises- you will see improvement! Dr. Pattison and Dr. Swauger are wonderful- they see everyone as a person not just as a patient. They take the time to make sure that you are ok and have helped me as well with personal matters. Megan (front staff) is wonderful as well. Thank you!
