City Works (King of Prussia Town Center - King of Prussia) reviews
17The food was extremely good. I had a steak and it was cooked perfectly. Kyra was extremely friendly and was great interacting with my daughter. We will definitely be back and will specifically request her.
We were told it was a 30 min wait. Came back 45 mins latter and told we were third in line. Came back at 60 mins and told we texted you and you did not respond and called it a no show. I showed my text messages and there was none. They seated us immediately. Wife went to ladies room and all three stalls had no toilet paper. Noisey place. This is just a good place to grab a beer and that's it
Love the place but watch the floor if you visit because it can be very slippery. Seems that the workers all know about the issue but nothing has been about it. Other than that, it's a great place to hang with friends.
This place has potential, good food, nice menu, decent beer list but parking is tough, service was terrible and the environment is congestive.
Came in last night to grab dinner with my husband. Nichole was our server and she was awesome! Very attentive. Recommended the crab fondue to us which was delicious! Very much enjoyed it, will be back!
Went there for a small bite and a drink. Sat at bar. Was immediately treated aggressively. I received the wrong drink and the food was not edible. The bartender then looks at me as he is rubbing lotion on his tattoes and asks if I had a problem. Total joke. Never go back
Had a great night out with friends. The restaurant does not take reservations at 3 pm so there was a bit of a wait when we got there, but the food was worth the wait. We enjoyed the cheese curds and ribs to start. Then we each got our meals. I had the Ahi tuna tacos, and my husband had the combo meal with pulled pork and wings mashed potatoes, and fries. Our friends got the chicken tacos and the combo meal with wings and pulled pork, fries, and coleslaw. It was a really great night with wonderful company.
We would come back again.
Pretty average food. Salad a bit small and over dressed (for me). Skimpy tuna portion for $18. Great service and solid sports bar vibe.
Great food along with some great service. Mike was our server and made our experience at City Works great! Very personal and professional!
Server Michael-Isiah was a great server, fast (lol), and has the BEST drink recommendations according to your preference.
I love this place especially on a game night great beer selection. Good atmosphere great food and our serve KYRA was wonderful
Vince was exceptional! He was patient and kind, and our service was incredible. We are regulars at City Works so the food and drinks were great, as always.
I still have dog hair in my mouth as I type this review:/ they allow dogs in the patio area; a large dog was sat next to us and it kept shaking next to our table, covering our food in dog hair. Dog hair everywhere. We planned to stay for dinner but never made it past the first course due to the cloud of dog hair enveloping us. The manager comp’d the first course and we left. There was lipstick on my wine glass and beer “pints” are small, 12-13 ounces if poured fully (my glass was a little more than half full). Cool place with a lot beer options but not a great experience.
Manager offered apologies and gift card for the dog hair experience. I have been back for beers. Good location.
Horrible service. Told that a wait would be about 40 minutes. Then 30 minutes later, the approximate time was still 40 minutes. We found a table open for the entire time that we were waiting and the manager was furious. Definitely did not feel welcomed or valued of any sort. Not to mention the rude attitude by the manager. I understand that it is a hard job to keep track of tables and customers but this was a random Wednesday night. In the end, we can count many lies by the manager and cannot believe my kids had to face her telling them to ‘get up’ and ‘stand over there’. Do not go to this restaurant and would suggest Great American Pub, or Casey’s Pour House instead.
We had the City Works burger, Caesar salad with salmon, Peach Cooler, and White Sangria. The food and drinks were good. The waitress was attentive.
Parking on a weekday at lunchtime is terrible.
Good selection of food though and plenty of nice outdoor space to have said lunch.
