It started out bad and just kept getting worse. I called to make my reservations for a wedding. I had to call back 4 times just to get the reservation right. I was not confident that I had a room reserved. I asked for a suite and I came into the room with 1 queen bed and a very small pull out couch, for my other adult guests. When I called to say that I ordered a suite (which in other hotels is a separate room) he said, my brother owns a hotel 6 miles away if you want to reserve another room there. As soon as we walked in to the hotel, the damp and stale smell was very strong. The rooms haven't been updated since the 80s. I would've rather spent extra money and gotten a clean and better managed hotel room. I gave it 1 Star because the review wouldn't let me give it Zero Stars!

Absolutely the worst hotel stay in my life! Not only were the rooms completely run down the bathrooms are in desperate need of new caulk and flooring. Looked so gross I couldn’t even shower. I unplugged the extremely loud running refrigerator! We were there for a wedding & had the side conference room for snacks & food I placed my bag in there only to find it missing searched frantically everywhere only to find out the manager took it and out it at the front desk because I had seltzers in my bag and it wasn’t allowed. So they opened my bag on their own recourse to find out what was inside. Why? ! No one should EVER stay here! Save your money & go to another hotel!
UPDATE! In regards to the response from the hotel manager thank you for admitting guilt that you not only took my bag BUT you opened it. So for people checking into your hotel they bring clothing, alcohol, maybe sex toys, drugs whatever is in their bags its OUR own personal choice what we chose to bring with us on our stay at a hotel. Your staff (YOU) not only open peoples bags but take them! You should have waited for me to take a beer from that bag which I didn't and confront me on it. Not take my bag and confiscate it at your front desk and open it. Secondly, YOUR hotel made the mistake of not canceling the room I booked with an incompetent employee over the phone who said the system was down and took my information of the phone. When I called back the next day to ask if a reservation was in the computer your staff said no so I booked the room the couples KNOT Website. When I checked in you should have said to me in person we have two rooms for you Mrs. Burnett and handed me two room keys right? You said NOTHING! I would have said there's a mistake I am staying with my husband and we only need ONE ROOM. You gave me a room card from room 224 the room I slept in. Only when I say the charge on my husbands credit card did we find out about YOU booking me for room 121 that I HAD NO IDEA ABOUT. You messed up! Your establishment is trash! You are unprofessional and should have kindly given me my money back for a room you charged me for that I knew nothing about and was your error! I will battle you from now until the end of time! You messed with the wrong girl from Philly you crook!

I really enjoyed my time at this hotel. I wanted a friendly quiet environment where I could just read a book or stare at stars at night and that is what I got. The hotel appears to be operated by a very friendly and nice family that is originally from India and I enjoyed interacting with them. But to me the best part of my stay was the young lady who operates the hotel registration office. She was very good at her job but she had a very beautiful smile that immediately uplifts your day like a ray of sunshine after a long night of dreary rain. I look forward to coming back soon to stay at this hotel for another getaway weekend trip.

The room that we had booked through choice hotels was supposed to be a balcony room with a king-size bed, but upon checking in we discovered that the room was on the first floor and had no balcony and we tried to have that situation rectified by the people at choice hotel also by the people at the front desk of his hotel, and instead of a quick fix we ended up on the phone for four hours with the various departments of customer disservice, being lied to the entire time about how a manager was coming to the premises in order to sort this situation out with us and it wasn't until the sun had literally set that we were made aware that no one would be coming to the premises to speak to us until the next morning and at this point we had already lost the ability to avail ourselves of any of the amenities that were supposed to be available to us for our entire State and our first night had basically been spent entirely on the phone with customer service trying to get the room that we had booked initially and paid for already. The hotel people themselves, with a sign directly next to the register explaining that they were not responsible for any debit holds associated with rentals which would be released at their leisure, proffered a solution - to check out of our room and recheck-in, there by paying for two rooms in order to check into the room we had booked initially.
Fun fact - they literally had opted not to send anyone up there to clean it which was the reason why we could not have the room that we had initially booked even though we could see it still available for rent on their website.
The only person who was of any assistance or seemed to have any understanding of what the word hospitality means was the initial contact woman, Mary at the front desk, but Mary had no power to address our growing greviences.
Upon realising that there would be no manager on the site until the next morning we finally relented and checked into the room that we were being overcharged for & spent 4 hours, sitting outside at a picnic table so as to not use the wrong room in any way, arguing with two different corporations customer service departments, but that is only the beginning of our nightmare.
In our attempts to use the 24-hour home office advertised as one of the amenities we were met with not only derision and abject rudeness from the night shift desk manager who had no idea how to operate any part of the office center that was supposed to be available to us but also had the unmitigated gall to ask us accusatorially if we were even staying in the hotel before admitting his complete ignorance to any portion of his job and telling us to come back in the morning when that ever-elusive manager who was supposed to be coming to help us sort out our booking issue from earlier should be in.
Cut to the middle of the afternoon that next day, my boyfriend & I found not only did we have no running water, about which we had not been in any way informed about beforehand, but that that would be the case indefinitely, and we were offered no accommodations for the over 4 hours that we had no running water - which for everyone playing the home game means no toilet and no showers at the very least -so we paid for two nights of stay in order to spend 1/2 day with no water and to spend another 1/2 day on the phone with customer service simply trying to get the room that we had booked and paid for.
Additional fun fact -
This hotel offers no continental breakfast and that is because the same family owns the Dunkin donuts that is directly in front of the hotel establishment so by keeping you out of getting continental breakfast they can force your business directly over to their other franchise business, the Dunkin donuts directly in front of them.

I don’t know what this hotel is like. But I can tell you one thing, the general manager (Mr. Patel is a maniac! I asked him a week prior to my reservation if they took dogs in case, my brother was joining me, (he has a dog) and he told me no I told him if he didn’t take the dogs that I would cancel my reservation and stay somewhere else I told him I did not have a dog. He threatened me that if I had a dog and he would CHECK, that he would take me right out of the hotel. My brother did decide that he will not be coming, so I figured it was all over about the dog.

I called back to request an early check-in today and he brought up the dog again, I don’t even have a dog. I tried to explain to him that I do not have a dog, and there will be no dog and he would not let me talk… He went ballistic on me and canceled my reservation! Stay at your own risk!

Outside door does not lock so anyone could wander in and there were definitely some sketchy characters around. Hair in shower. No vanity so nowhere to put any toiletry bag etc.but that was the least of the problems with the bathroom. Bathroom needed a good wipedown. Could feel the mattress springs and was very squeaky. Would never stay here again. Yuck.

I stay with Choice Hotels for 50+ nights a year and this is the worst hotel I've ever been to. This place is an absolute rip off at $160/night. The room was downright nasty (dust, dirt, mold) and not fit for occupancy. They don't offer breakfast and told me to go to Duncan Donuts down the street which (surprisingly) had worse service than this hotel. At least the water pressure in the shower was good.

Do yourself a favor - keep driving. You can do much better than this place without much effort.

Stood the night so I didn't have to drive home after a Christmas dinner with my job.

If you are expecting a 5 then go somewhere else.

If you are expecting a decent place to catch a good rest, this is it.

The rooms were great in size
Could use a little updating and sprucing up.

Absolutely disgusting & unsafe. Filthy bathroom, sticky carpets, hair on sheets and on walls, floors, shower curtain (see photos). Exterior door that should only be able to be accessed with a key card was not locked, easily opened and held together with electrical tape (see photos). When we arrived in our room, someone had left a tissue balled up in the peep hole to the room (see photos). The lock on our door would randomly beep and the door would unlock. It was not a restful night, we did not feel safe in the room, and I would have rather slept in our vehicle as it was cleaner and safer than this hotel room which gave us serious trafficking vibes, if you know what I mean. All of these safety issues are made worse by the proximity to a major highway. Also, the entire time we were there, we didn't see a single staff member other than the front desk woman, who was nice. But we didn't see a single housekeeping or maintenance staff member at all, anywhere during our stay- which may explain the state of our room and all the locks. I reached out to Choice Hotels to explain my concern and received some canned responses about being sorry for my experience. Nothing more- no actual concern, no offer of a discount or refund. Nothing more than a copy/paste "sorry". DO NOT waste your money or risk your personal safety at this place. Especially if you are alone or have kids with you.

It was a quick pit stop. The housekeeper was a beautiful soul. I wish her peace and happiness. The room was nice, noisy neighbors, but the front desk gave another room, which I thought was nice, and we were grateful Namaste

Thank you for having an amazing staff. The front desk took care of our room change due to the noise all night in the next room. Hey, people are on vacation living their best life. I didn't complain.they just moved to a quieter room down the hall. Three housekeepers were the sweetest ladies ever, gave me extra towels, and shared a smile that is what makes a place great. The rooms were a little outdated, but it was a modest place to lay my head.

The place is clean. Not sure how far the management is enforcing the no smoking policy, everytime I have passed 2 doorbefore my room I smell someone smoking in the room. Not a hint but it is rather strong smell.

Clean tidy room, comfortable bed, quiet area, could improve building door security a bit, otherwise decent value.

Sam and all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Customer service a plus. Anything extra the staff will gladly help. All areas of hotel are clean and safe. Walmart and other store less than 10 min away. Dunkin’ Donuts right next to the hotel as well a plus. Kids enjoy the pool time. Will stay again.
