Cochran David DDS reviews
3 Not impressed with the doctor who evidently was the only person who could administer nitrous treatments. All the three or four times I went there, every single time something was wrong with the apparatus that goes over your nose to allow the nitrous to flow in to your nose. It fell apart every single time. So not only was I not getting enough nitrous to help relax for the procedure, the cost was out of pocket. And the price changed more than once during my visit times there after being told one price and then charged another.
I see the other reviews with the assistants seem to be good. Wish I could have gotten one of them, then, that could have administered the nitrous. Because this doctor was not great for me. Then they stopped the treatments, so I had to find somewhere else for it. Hoping the new place will be able to have properly functioning equipment. They really gave me the side-eye eyebrow raised look when I asked if they have properly functioning equipment and apparatuses for nitrous treatments. Based on prior bad experiences at this dentist office I explained to them.
So if someone sees this low star review, don't necessarily be discouraged. This is just my personal unfortunate experience within the circumstances I required to be able to go to a dentist. If a reader doesn't have such requirements, then perhaps it may be ok for them.
I made an appointment months ago. They called on a Friday, the week before my appointment, at the end of the work day to reschedule it, which I missed. Then call to tell me it’s back on. Then on the day of the appointment at 11am in the middle of the workday they send a text and call to confirm, which I cannot answer as I work in a school and cannot typically answer until students leave. So by 2pm when I can call they have filled my appointment that I made months ago.
Went in for a cleaning today and was lucky enough to have Lori as my hygienist. Not a huge fan of going to the dentist, but Lori was awesome. Talked me through everything she was doing, why she was doing it and was very friendly the entire time.
