I received both my BLS and my ACLS here. I was a little skeptical of the format Code One uses at first, but as this is my 3rd time getting these certs I figured I'd give it a try. In summary, you do the typical hybrid/online AHA portion, and then you go in for the skills session. The difference with Code One is your evaluator is remote. So you communicate via zoom/webcam and they are on a large TV screen. They have live access to feedback from the mannequin so they know how well you are conducting CPR. The whole process was quite seamless. You don't have to be tech/computer savvy at all. You just walk in the room and there they are on the screen ready to go. What I liked about this is I had one-on-one feedback for the entire hour, no other student was there. I worked with Santina and she was very friendly and professional the whole time. She provided constructive feedback where appropriate. I've had ACLS instructors you might call "gate keepers" who are very strict, but Santina was helpful and not out to "get you" with tricky questions. Overall I would recommend.

The directions to get to the CodeOne center were easy to follow. The equipment provided was clean and up to date. The feedback provided was very helpful. The instructor (Richard) was extremely friendly and supportive throughout the in-person session. He made it very comfortable to preform the required tasks over zoom and made me feel competent leaving the session. I was very happy I opted for this ACLS course and will do future courses at this site.

Certification/Recertification in advance emergency care can cause anxiety and stress for a lot of people, myself included. I can honestly say this training facility and my ACLS instructor (Richard) made this class stress free. I signed up for Code1 last minute to get my PALS certification. The course was self driven online, overall took me about 3-4 hours broken up. The idea of a virtual skills session at a destination was a little strange, but I had the sweetest proctor! Ken was kind, helpful, engaging and encouraging! I wish all my AHA instructors were like him. He even structured my verbal review at the end of my skills section to meet the my job specifics. If you get the chance to take a course in Philly, ask for Ken!

Had to get BLS certified for nursing school and Code1 was such a smooth, easy process. Ken was my instructor and talked me through the whole skills test, making it easy and understandable each step of the way! Overall had an awesome experience.

I completed the BLS complete course. The online coursework was great it allows you to work at your speed. My skills session was great too. My instructor was great he walked me through everything and was very kind which I appreciate since I was a bit nervous.
