Nice setting on the Yellow Breeches. Food was mediocre, drinks not bad. I have to say the onion ring were the worst I’ve ever had. Nacho and salsa were low budget, AA, minor league quality. Pitt beef sandwich and homemade chips were good.

Cold Springs has become the favorite local place to meet friends. Consistently great pulled pork sandwiches, good burgers and amazing salads, but sitting on the deck with the Yellow Breeches sparkling, the trees singing, the birds busy.that's the best stuff of PA and this place does it super well!

Setting is fantastic. Soft pretzel and onion rings appetizers were very good. Pit beef twice now has been a bit tough and dry, perhaps needs to be sliced a bit thinner. Other selections like burger, pork tacos, and crab cake were very good. Place is very popular. We've been here on both a Tuesday (limited menu) and Thursday around 4 recently, and by the time we've left, it was packed. But both days had excellent weather conducive to dining outside.

I do have one big complaint. Here you are sitting along the yellow breeches where you can be enjoying the sound of the water running, birds chirping, and wind blowing through the trees, and instead you get ac/dc blasting in your ears. I realize music is a personal preference, but why chance alienating some customers with it. I'm very glad it wasn't country, but how about no music in such a setting? Or, if you feel you must play something, perhaps soft rock at a barely-audible level would suffice. Unless you are a dance club, the music in a restaurant, if played, should be two things. - one, appropriate for the theme (play Irish music in an Irish pub) and two, barely noticeable. Well, I'll add a third, mellow. Far too many restaurants detract from their atmosphere with music that is either too loud, too raucous, or both.

We really like this place and will be back, but we'd enjoy it even more if we didn't find the music a distraction.

The atmosphere is awesome on a nice day, we enjoyed sitting out on the deck overlooking the water. I tried 2 of the ales which were very solid, and I was pleasantly surprised by the food. Waitress and bartender were both great. Overall had a very good first experience and will be putting CSI into the rotation this summer!

Great atmosphere and beautiful scenery. The beer selection is wide with their own unique brews and a selection of outside brews, wine and spirits. Their food looked amazing. 110% would come back for dinner and drinks! Plan for a wait, this place is hopping.

We just had a baby shower there and everyone was amazing! Food was great and they accommodated us with no issues! I can’t even begin to say how awesome they are!

Ambiance along Yellow Breeches Creek is very nice. Food was delicious as was the adult slushies. Service was first class.

Our family had dinner here the other night after multiple prior attempts and no success - we never wanted to wait for seating. The real deal here is getting a seat overlooking the creek, and preferably on the second level as it is higher which is exactly what we did! Our server was new, but his inexperience never showed and he was very friendly and service oriented. For appetizers we ordered the beer cheese pretzels and chips and salsa. The pretzel was good but nothing special - the salsa was outstanding. Most of the table ordered the pork BBQ sandwich and it was quite tasty and filling. One ordered the crab cake sandwich and said it was very good as well. We left feeling very full and quite satisfied with our meal. We would definitely return for another seating and try something else on the menu. The table next to us was raving about the beef pit BBQ just FYI.

Always a great time here with friends, family, or a date night! Although it’s PA liquor, beer, and wine we always find some good to drink here. Crowley always takes care of us and he is so very kind. Wait staff is friendly & attentive.

Good food, good atmosphere, friendly service. If you can find it, it's worth the trip. Expanded menu is very good tavern fare

I have been here to eat many times. The other day, I took my mom and her boyfriend who were visiting from out of town. They really enjoyed sitting near the creek and watching the kayakers. It has a great atmosphere! 2 of us got the CSI burger which were good but kind of dry and lacked flavor. The homemade chips were really good though. My mom got the Pit Beef sandwhich and her boyfriend got the crab cake sandwich. They both enjoyed them and said they were good, not the best theyve ever had or anything but decent. My mom and I got wine slushies and neither of us tasted the alcohol, which I already knew from getting them in the past. They always tend to be very weak.

Cold Springs was a great spot in what seemed to be the middle of nowhere. We happened to luck upon it halfway through our road trip and could not have been happier. The food was excellent, the service was great, and the atmosphere and river views were truly fantastic. Our little one loved the hotdog (which came with excellently seasoned fries for mom and dad), and my wife really enjoyed the cauliflower margherita pizza. The Pimento Chicken sandwich was also very good. What a great find!

Sunday brunch at Cold Springs is always a winner. Today was no different. Eggs Benedict was stellar and so was the chicken and waffles. Our compliments to the chef. You can count on everything always being great!

Great Atmosphere out on the Balcony, Wonderful Service and the food was Delicious. WolfBerry Stout was Outstanding as well.

They would not accommodate a 4 year old child. I will let the Attorney General know of the discrimination. The bar manager and staff were very rude on 10/23/2022.
