4The road was blocked right before it and it was the last on my list to hit before heading home, so i gave up. Then, i became curious about the campground and followed signs hoping to catch a nice water view and ended up at the opposite side of the bridge! Hope the people were ok where the road block was, but was excited that i still got to see it, although accidental
Did not enter the bridge this trip, but I have walked that bridge many times, it can take you back to the late 1800's.the construction is amazing.
This was a neat bridge because you had some access to the creek on the southeastern side of the bridge. There are no parking signs on that same side of the bridge, but there looks to be a turn around loop. We were there for 10 minutes and didn't see a single car, though we were there at the end of February. There is a walking trail that runs along the creek, which we didn't explore. It's nice when these bridges aren't smothered in private property. This one was worth lingering at.
Great bridge to drive thru & stop to take pictures. There is a wooded trail, but Im not sure that you can park there for a long time. Very nice bridge.
