Colonial Park Animal Clinic reviews
21I have to say that this clinic is THE BEST veterinarian that I've ever been too. They answered ALL my questions without hesitation. They were terrific with my peeny girl. Bottom line is that my baby girl loves them and colonial pet clinic has us as there newest addition to there patient list. Thank u ALL for EVERYTHING u have done and will be doing in the future. Penny says woof woof wich means she LOVES U ALL!
Dr. HANN and staff were most compassionate to my kids and their needs during the recent wellness/vaccine visit. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for professional, compassionate care.
The tech that took us back to our room was very nice and helpful and pleasant. The doctor was awesome but the front desk girls were very unpleasant. I felt like a bother to them. You could tell they didn’t know much about customer service either that or they didn’t think I was important because I had a service dog in training. As we were leaving, all I could hear was the one girl complaining about having to do her job. The place was empty.
We have had excellent experiences with Colonial Park Animal Clinic. The spaying of our chocolate lab was awesome. She had little to no pain, incision healed fast and Gracie acted like nothing had ever happened. We had a recent concern with her legs and they were able to get us in quickly and provide great care. Next Gracie’s brother is getting neutered and we know he’s in good hands!
They OVER CHARGE for everything! My pregnant dog didn't get the services needed and yet I was still charged over $270 for the visit. Then when I tried to reschedule was given 1 option, couldn't take off work & was told there wasn't anything they could do. No one ever followed up on my pregnant Momma and on the delivery of the puppies. Very clear that they don't care about my pets- they just see dollar signs $$$$$.
Some front office staff are very rude & have extremely poor customer service skills.
I switched to another office & am so happy now. I pay over 1/2 LESS for appointments, my dogs stay in the room with me, & the Vet & staff genuinely care about my fur babies.
I wish someone had warned me about Colonial Park Animal Clinic so I would never have gone there!
Update 4/17/23 - Our best boy Indiana crossed the rainbow bridge last night, and I can't help thinking that if he would have gotten the care and compassion he needed instead of being turned away for something our of his control, he would have been with us for many more years. 4/12/23 - My dog was vomiting and lethargic. My preferred vet was closed due to the Easter Holiday, so I called and was able to get my dog in on a cancellation. Unfortunately, I wound up stuck in traffic traveling to Colonial Park from the West Shore and was 10 minutes late. I should have called, but I don't like to use my phone on the highway and there was nowhere to pull over. I get to the clinic, call, and they tell me that they only have one vet and because I was late, they'll have to reschedule. Reschedule an appointment for a dog who has vomited and had the runs for 3 days, because of traffic I couldn't control? I've never been so disappointed in a vet's office. The fact that they weren't even willing to work with us was frustrating and infuriating. Ashley from the front desk, you were great. I sincerely appreciated the effort to get my dog in. But the organization as a whole will never get my business.
I love the staff at Colonial Park Animal Center. My feline daughter Ebony is always happy being there. You can feel the love for their customers as you walk into the door. If you're looking for a professional and loving veterinarian staff, give this group a try.
I've been using Colonial Park Animal Clinic for the past 22 years. We have enjoyed the their care. We noticed that during the years of 2020 - 2022 it became most difficult to get an appointment. The their appointment calendar was a 60-90 day wait. It now has improved and in the past 4 months things seem to be back on track. 2 week wait for an standard check-up or vaccine.
I brought my 9 year old tiger cat in to have his claws trimmed and was very pleased how we were treated and taken care of
This vet office only cares about charging you the most amount of money rather than actually helping your pet to find the root cause of an issue. It "might be this" but charges you over $750 and have TERRIBLE customer service. Do yourself a huge favor and do not bring your pet here. Dr Brady & Dr Migliori are fantastic. However, the remainder of the vets and the front desk associates make it miserable enough to never want to go back.
I’ll never give them my business again.
So first of all when I call the phone number that’s listed on the website no one answers or they don’t even have a voicemail or it’s busy like constantly so I had to drive an hour just to come to the stupid place to make an appointment for my dog which I sat in the parking lot for 30 minutes to see how busy they were and obviously they’re busy where they’re totally understaffed which I don’t understand because Within 30 minutes not one person came to the facility with her animals so they’re that busy that they have to book me out until 24 August which my dog has a serious problem and then all the other sorry veterinarian clinics around here no take new patients or clients absolutely garbage very bad customer service
I've been taking Otie here since he was a Pup, whenever he needs to be seen, their is nothing available until months later, just called to schedule his Rabies vaccine and Heart and Worm, which is Extremely important, especially this time of year. And I explained my concerned and the receptionist Katlyn, was very Short, showed no Empthy.
Flatly stated nothing would be available to mid October.are you Freaking kidding me. Definitely will be looking for a new Vet.bye Colonial Park
The staff are very friendly but very busy all the time. They treat my little Goldie very well; however, I think their prices for meds and dog food are too high in addition to all the vaccinations; blood work, etc. But if they can help my little dumplin live a little longer, it is well worth the money. One thing I don't like is; you are never seen at your appointment time. I think they schedule a bunch of animals at the same time. With the Covid 19, I could not go in with her but the vet did call me and tell me what he found. So, we have to do what is best for everyone and I understand that. The reason I rated them as a 3 is due to the high fees they charge even tho I do get the senior discount; but it is still too high. But you got to do what you got to do.
Everyone looking at these reviews, don't let them fool you. They took my review down that I posted less than 1 week ago about my dog dying. I requested my dogs meds because he was sick, he was 16 years old. I was told i needed an appointment which was tomorrow, Thursday. I told them he will die without the meds, they didn't care.he did die this past weekend. I made sure I called to let them know. My name is Allison and my dogs name was Rummy, I hope the owner sees this but I am sure they will take down this post again. I will never have a pet of mine be seen here again. They only want your money, no compassion.
Please save yourself time and don’t call this office! I have had several pets cared for at this office for many years and in the past couple of months I have been told they have no staff to help with the care of my pets! I have moved to a much more caring establishment that will care for the health and well being of my pets.
This was our first visit to Colonial Park Animal Clinic. We were looking for a vet that was closer to home than where we had been going. I was very pleased with the staff and their service. Very compassionate. Dr Zimmerman is one of the best that I have seen.
The staff were very friendly and willing to help and advise on my pet's needs. There was a doctor on hand if needed. Small facility and limited parking.
Today was the last time I call to have my pets seen here. Wait times for any appointment is 3 weeks plus. I have 3 cats and 1 dog and the clinic has been our families clinic through the passing of 3 other dogs. It is obvious that the patient load is to high for them to keep up. I will assist by removing 4 patients.
I knew the problems with wait times, for maintenance appointments it has not been an issue. Any medical issue outside of emergency not always be 3 weeks. The last time I waited 3 weeks for my dog to be seen for allergies/itching. We had the appointment and after some test and blood work I went to the counter o receive my $550 bill. I waited 4 weeks with no response so I proactively called. I was told they were not back yet. I waited 2 more weeks no response. I was told the same excuse. I waited 2 more weeks no response, this is 2months out now. I have already changed diet and the seasons have changed and the itching is now gone. I pressed them to find out more only to be told that the blood work never made it to the company that was to do the testing.
They asked me to come back in for more blood work I told them the itching seems to be gone after a change of diet. They discarded this info and proceeded to stick my dog again. I called them back later that night and told them to cancel and refund my money their lack of responsibility and follow up made me mad.
Now months later I have another issue, not an emergency, but I would like my dog seen in the next few days for a pas issue and x-rays. He walks but has a limp and does whine when the paw is touched. Once again I am told 3 weeks to get seen.
Goodbye Colonial Park Animal Clinic after 15+ years of visits.
I took my dog to get allergy testing. I had a family member that did the testing through colonial park animal clinic and has had great progress since finding out what their dog is allergic to. My vet did not offer these services. The staff is super friendly and it was very easy to make an appointment. The vet was also very friendly and knowledgeable. I was very happy with my experience at colonial park care clinic!
Ok but miss the old ownership. A 1 minute nail clipping is 15 bucks now when they used to do it for free as a courtesy. Staff and Dr Hahn are awesome.
