Nice place for memorabilia.

However, buyer be aware. If card collecting.check the price vs. Amount of cards in a pack. 200% price increase.
The owner told me it was because he can do whatever he wants.

Selling overpriced items is not a good business practice.

As i mentioned, it is Buyer Be Aware.took me 3 days to decide on if i should have called or not.i spoke to an older gentleman on the phone.same person i spoke to in the store face to face.the conversation was polite and respectful.with that.i stand by my words.the owner said he can do what he wants.i do computer repair. 22 plus years. If i charged a client $45 for a 6ft USB cable.well, i couldn't consciously do so knowing the cost of said cable is less than 5 bucks.i would end up with little to no business at all.it is not worth the gas to drive back up there just to hear the same thing i heard on the phone.i certainly do not want anything.i got a reminder on not to trust anyone and always do your research before buying.thats always free.as i said.the older gentlemen knowingly sold a pack of 6 football cards @ $20. In the past 2 months, I've been buying the same type of football cards with 15 cards at $17.i have probably spent well over $200 so far.this has nothing to do with hitting big in on a card or using Beckett for prices. To me it's just a hobby that I've liked for 30 plus yrs. I've always enjoyed the banter between collector, trading cards for your team cards and so on.once again, BUYER BE AWARE. Do your research before buying anything.anywhere.

Let's just say you need to go to Colts! Excellent Selection of memorabilia, customer service and a downright knowledgeable staff (family).

Went there today, they had a an obscure bobble head that I collect reasonable priced. Very friendly and highly recommend. You can spend a few hours in there looking!

Something for everyone! My kid asked for a singular card for a specific football player and the owner bought out around 75 to choose from, all individually priced. There are high priced, high value memorabilia (signed Iverson action photos, signed baseballs from all your favorite players, even Championship rings) as well as current Topps cards, and unopened packets from decades ago. And then there's the 3D holographic animal pictures that we didn't even look through. Great stock! Great store. Nice guys working there too, happy to talk to my kids about how to collect valuable cards.

I was left a collection of sports cards when my grandfather died. I knew nothing about them and was sure I was going to be played like a fiddle when I tried selling them. I walked in the store hoping for at least an appraisal, but instead got a lesson on how to determine their value myself! It was so helpful! They clearly know their stuff in this store and are serious experts. Glad I found Colt’s!

My family and I visited Peddler’s Village for the first time and my 11 year old son wanted to go to this store to see if they had some baseball cards that he just started collecting. He was very excited to discover that they had the packs of cards he was looking for. When he started picking up the packs and looking through them to see which ones he wanted to buy, the two older people working the register directly in front of my son, started ridiculing him saying to each other, “Look at what he’s doing, he’s going through all the packs and ruining it for other kids! ” I am not sure how picking up a few packs of cards and deciding which ones he wanted to buy was ruining it for other kids, but they were clearly mocking him in front of other customers and making him feel extremely uncomfortable. Then they started talking to him directly and very rudely said, “Look at you! What are you doing? You are ruining it for other children! You are not a true card collector. ” My wife turned to my son and told him not to worry about it and we would go to the baseball card store near our house. We were all mortified by this experience, and my son left in tears. After traveling over an hour to get to Peddler’s Village, this was not the kind of experience we were hoping for and we will definitely not be going back to Colts Sports Collectibles.

Update 1/4/23: I received an email from the owner of Colts Sports Collectibles with a sincere apology and an invite back to their store.

Very rude staff, tried to upsell me on every little thing trying to get me to spend more, which I understand but it was so intense I almost left since it was after I repeatedly said I had found what I came for. When I checked out, the cashier asked if I wanted anything else and I said "just this, thanks! " and he replied "fine be that way then. " I can't help but feel I was being talked down to as a woman shopping at this kind of store, treated as though I didn't know what I was looking for and being offered multiple things that were clearly far more expensive than what I had said I was looking for, being told they were "so much better" than what I'd picked out. I know sexism when I see it -even if it isn't intentional, and it was extremely disappointing and honestly pathetic in 2022. The experience was completely condescending and I will never again be shopping here. Too bad because I love to support small businesses.
