Comfort Inn Lancaster at Rockvale

I went to help my daughter, her car broke down and the receptionist was very helpful in allowing us to work in the parking lot. I didn't stay at the hotel.

Decent place to stay. Front desk staff was friendly. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. Food was adequate.

Great customer providers and very quiet location near a few restaurants and some outlet stores

Hair dryer not working and it is in the 30s outside.
Was told they only had one extra and it was being used.
No attempt to get us the hair dryer.
Brrr

At check-in we asked if we could have a 1 hour late check out. They told us we would have to ask in the morning because of the cleaning staff schedule. In the morning we asked and the front desk told us they could do the 1 hour later check out and noted it in their computer system. We were in town to run a half marathon and wanted quick showers before driving. Later that morning the housekeeper knocked asking if we were checking out. We explained we were hurrying and would be out soon but that we had a late checkout. Just a few minutes later a different front desk person called our room and was extremely rude. She was asking who told us we could check out later and wanted to know what time we asked. She asked when we were leaving and was snotty. We were ready earlier than we thought and checked out by 11: 45am. Normal checkout is 11am and check-in isn't until 4pm.

The room was okay. Lighting was odd. If it wasn't for the rude late-morning/afternoon staff I would have rated this higher.

New beds are very comfortable. Bathroom should have a second grab bar on long wall side. It's VERY important for senior citizens to have this security feature. We will be back next year. Thank you.

Great place to stay while visiting the outlets. Clean and friendly. Lots to do in the area.

Stayed overnight for a concert in Reading and couldn't be happier. Room was extremely clean, climate control kept me comfortable at my preferred 67 degrees. Location is perfect - there are dozens of restaurants within 5 miles, including almost every major chain. Outlet shops were accessible without having to even get on the main highway. Check-in was flawless, staff was personable and attentive. One of the best hotels I've stayed in in the last couple of years.

This is a very nice motel. Our room was clean and spacious. The TV was above average size and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We loved the location, very close to restaurants and the Sight and Sound theater.

Stay was okay. Made sure pool was open. 1st day was cool but not too bad (had just stormed when I got here). Today is closed because it "might" storm. I dont see any rain yet - really - guess I will stick with indoor pools. They dont want to bother maintenance at 6: 00 I guess

No housekeeping services. Had to get towels and shampoo at the desk. Bathroom had ants as well as one of the beds.

Pros: very quiet, got the last room on the first floor, had a breakfast variety

cons: the door needs new blinds, needs curtains to make it darker in the room, there computer by the front desk wouldn't let me sign on office365 to finish my assignment

Nice and clean room with me than enough towels, friendly staff and good breakfast. We slept well.

Nice people, Hal at front desk was great! Breakfast was good, would like wheat bread though. Coffee was good too!

My husband, my parents and I were checking in. My husband gave his card, the man said it was declined. Tried another and the guy said that was also declined. I then said to use mine which went through. My husband looked why he didn’t have enough money and his bank account said that the Comfort Inn DID take money out of his account. We showed the guy and he said oh it’s pending so it’s not really taken out. We said yes it did take the money, I went on my mine and showed it was the same. Then he said oh well it will be back in account in a day or two usually it takes. We called bank and they said it shows it was charged, that we needed to go to the guy and tell him if the charge doesn’t go back on the card we would dispute it. We did this. Next day we went down to tell them the charge was still pending and we had asked to talk to manager and the guy went back and the manager never came out. We were so frustrated because what if I didn’t have my card, we wouldn’t have been able to stay. And as of now we have a double charge for a one night stay. To say the least I’m very irritated and ready to do what we have to in order to get our money back
