Comfort Inn Selinsgrove reviews
31 Real nice ppl. Our car broke down in front of the hotel and Cal & the manager were so helpful. Rooms Are clean I would highly recommend.
Thank you for your help and kindness.
The evening hostess left much to be desired. She treated my family like refuse and would have likely turned us away if we didn't have reservations. Praise God decent staff was dispatched the next morning. The hotel was clean but understandingly dated, in need of fresh carpet among other things. They do not have an elevator which was a huge surprise since I have never encountered a multi-level hotel without one. I would never stay at this place again, mostly due to the sour welcome, intrusive questions, and failure to accommodate my payment requests.
Friendly staff. Pool is much smaller than the pictures could be updated. Doors do not lock behind you beware
The young lady between 25-30 years old at the desk at night time is not very friendly, rude, miserable and not helpful. When you go to a hotel they usually greet you and make you feel welcomed. She doesn’t make you feel that way, in fact she makes you feel like you are unwelcome and like you are bothering her. I highly do not recommend this hotel. I walked in the hotel and she went around the corner facing the other way just so she didn’t have to make eye contact with me. The hotel needs to replace her and put people who welcome you and are friendly. Never have I ever seen a hotel with a reception who is unfriendly like her. Good luck if you go.
A little noise from the highway, a little noise through the adjoining room door, but clean and comfortable. Not so much as a gas station convenience store in walking distance so be prepared.
Always check your bed set. Clump of hair.but housekeeping definitely does their job. Always remember to key your room key away from your phone- it'll demagnetize.
Great place for the cash that was spent to stay:)
Very nice and a great price. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Right on the edge of the main strip so easy access to shops and restaurants.
Easy access parking, clean room, staff was very courteous. Solid hotel, would probably book again if I needed a room in the area.
Pros: Good location. Selinsgrove is nice halfway point for a lot of driving distances. It's right off the highway, close to Starbucks and Target. Did I mention it's close to Starbucks?
Free breakfast.
Friendly staff.
Low price.
Fitness center and pool.
Can use Choice Hotel points.
Cons: Paper thin blankets. This is a hotel trend I've noticed in the last few years, not exclusive to this hotel.
Breakfast is basic and bare bones.
Building could use updating, but again, this is the trade off for affordability.
Kleenex are like sandpaper. I don't think I usually think about Kleenex except my daughter happened to have a head cold during our stay.
I would recommend this hotel. I'd say the pros outweigh the cons for sure.
While a conveniently located budget hotel located in Selingsgrove, I was taken aback by a staff member or manager of the hotel when questioned as to my visit there, as I am an African American male. That question was only posed to me while clearing customs of a foreign country. This occurred three years ago during a regional visit to the area.
Cleanest hotel this year! We have been traveling a lot this year due to retirement yay! This place was Really clean. Rooms were really large. Staff was nice e and breakfast was good. Had lots of fresh fruit too.
We checked in into this hotel on the 09.07.2018and our room was dirty the sheets not changed and I call the front desk and tell them about it the lady said I can give you sheets but I can't made the bed for you I say never mind I'm out she say oh well we still gonna charge you even if you checking out and one of the front desk lady come up with us to the room and see it and then they give us our money back, the stuff not friendly or helpful at all I'll not come back again.
The staff were all friendly and courteous. The breakfast could be better. Beds were comfy, soaps were okay. The water here may be soft as I found it difficult to remove the soap while showering.
Definitely needs some work. The beds were ridiculously bouncy so that you feel your partner move. The lighting was very yellow. The entire place needs an update. Rugs were stained. Not worth the price.
Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Nice selection for breakfast. Night manager was very nice. She ran a couple of towels outside for my 2 year old nephew who had gotten sick on the car ride. She also gave the other kids candy bars.
Absolutely a 5 star hotel in Selingsgrove, PA. Beds are like sleeping on a cloud. Pillows just as great! Will be staying there again when I go back down to see my daughter! Friendly staff there as well.
The staff was very polite and the rooms were very neat and orderly. It is late cated near all the food and shops you could imagine if you forgot something, which is a plus. I would highly recommend staying here if looking for a place in the area.
I stayed there on my way back through on my bicycle tour the people were very friendly nice room also
I stay on the road a lot and stayed here this week for 3 nights. The rooms were clean, a bit of a musty smell. The beds are comfy and you have a refrigerator and mic in the room. A nice hotel overall for the price.
There is a lot of bugs in the hotel but the service was four stars. The breakfast food was cold.
