Comfort Inn & Suites, Pittsburgh PA

Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Women at the front desk what a sweet lady she is indeed, my buddy had explosive diarrhea and barely made it into the lobby bathroom and she discounted his food items because she felt bad for his discomfort. Although, the elevator feels like you may drop 100 feet. Overall good stay

First the rooms are renovated which is nice. That was the good part. We started with our room smelling like a cigar room. Second the shower wouldn’t work in the morning. So after waiting awhile, maintenance did show up and sourt of got it halfway working. Second, our fridge hardly worked, not to mention wouldnt close properly so we threw away good leftovers and food we brought. Even after mentioning these problems, no compensation was given. As for the breakfast, it wasn’t good. The waffle machine was only tasty thing. Most hotels provide some green tea or black tea as an alternative to coffee for a caffeine fix. Not worth the price for other hotels we could have stayed at or other comfort inns we have been to.

I got the king suite and it's honestly one of the best rooms I've ever stayed in. Beds are super comfortable. Rooms are actually clean. The tub is nice and clean and you can definitely soak in the bath here. It's large and spacious. Will definitely stay here again. There is a $50 deposit and they do not accept Cash. Very nice hotel though. Will be coming back in the future.

Do not stay here! This was one of the worst Comfort Inn Hotels I have ever stayed in. It smelled of urine. We were supposed to have a room on top floor away from noise (light sleepers) but when we got to the top floor, we were right in front of elevator & ice machine. The 4th floor smelled of urine also. When I went down to notify the front desk clerk of the urine smell and also that we wanted a room.away from noise she said the pool was what we were smelling. The pool was on 1st floor & I heard other people talking about the smell. She told us there was nothing she could do about where our room was located & again blamed the smell on the pool. Once in our room we didn't smell anything but didn't get much sleep because of people getting on & off the elevator late evening & early morning.

We were so happy with this hotel! We stayed here while in Pittsburgh for a Steelers game. Our room, along with the hotel itself was clean and nice! Everyone at the front desk was lovely as well. I would highly recommend staying here.

Comfy bed, slightly dirty around mattress, large rooms, nice bathroom, good price, friendly staff, 4/5.

Lack of quality maid service. They left the door to my room ajar all day after walking in to service it then forgetting about it. Understaffed had one person on in the afternoon to check people in and provide room amenities (towels trash pillows, etc.) Bed not comfortable, pillows flat.

We stayed here our first night in town and liked it enough to book one more night before leaving town.

Both times, the person at check-in was friendly, efficient, and went out of her way to accommodate us.

The grounds and facility were both impeccably clean. Our room, a suite, was spacious and well appointed.

While the location is close to downtown, getting here (or anywhere in Pittsburgh) is an ordeal of one way streets, fast cars, and chaos. That's the only knock on a great place to stay.

Jessica is a lifesaver. We had our reservation at another hotel fall through due to uncleanliness, deteriorating conditions and a pool filled with mold. I was in tears on my first trip with my 8 yo and stopped in hoping there was a room free for two nights. Jessica, the manager, saves the day and provided us with accommodations that far supersedes my expectations at the last minute. The room was extremely clean, pool was clean and her customer service has blown me away. This location is also much more accessible to the other attractions we hoped to visit. Will definitely be recommending this to anyone traveling to the Pittsburgh area. Thank you Jessica for going above and beyond!

Terri is fantastic! The refrigerator in our room wasn’t cooling correctly because the freezer was completely frosted over. Our son’s medication needs to be kept cold so Terri was sweet enough to let us keep it in their refrigerator so we didn’t have to worry about going bad. What a lifesaver, especially since we can only get his medication thru a specialty pharmacy!

The room was very clean, which is a relief with a child with a life-threatening illness. Also plenty of hot water in the shower and a nice indoor pool. There was also a large selection of food on the free breakfast buffet, which was a great way to start the day!

It appears as it may have been a nicer area a year or two ago, but due to closed businesses and their overgrown greenery it isn’t what it once was. It’s within walking distance (or a quick drive using side streets if you aren’t comfortable walking) to Eat n Park which offers a large selection of food. Would absolutely recommend this Comfort Inn versus the Days Inn next door.

Our only negatives were the non-functional in-room refrigerator/freezer (see picture - we left the door open and turned it off in hopes it would defrost once we left) and the bathroom sink drained extremely slowly due to the plug being barely above the bowl.

Terri welcomed us with a smile even after 11 hours of work, room was clean, pool is refreshing and convenient to everything!

Teri the front desk clerk was very helpful, from our reservations to suppling our needs when we asked. The rooms were clean and very sufiencent. The breakfast was great. The management let us use the breakfast area for our nightly get together, we had 10 guys for a golf trip.

Fair price, convenient location, and clean room. Breakfast included and the beds are comfortable. What more could you ask for?
