Comfort Suites Amish Country reviews
18The water faucet in the shower was squinting up to the ceiling, they might want to look at that.
Very clean, good breakfast, quiet hotel and very friendly staff. Love how they put signs in hallways about being quiet while entering or exiting in hallways! We would return again.
First the hotel is nice in the lobby and the room is decent; however, the HVAC is not set up for extremely cold weather and we had to put the thermostat on 80 to get heat which then caused the thing to produce unbearably loud noise to which we could no longer hear the TV. We called the front desk and were offered another room which would not heat up even on 80 turns out the window had been opened which should have been checked when cleaning or prior to being offered to us. We were then moved yet again. Although the HVAC worked in this room, the bathroom sink was clogged. Hence, the reason for 2 stars, the only reason I didnt give you a 1 is because the rooms were tidy. But I would NOT choose this hotel when I visit the area again!
Customer service people needs more training, specially evening people at desk. The management and owners are at fault, because they create policies and rules. The room cleaning service is part of the package when you offer rate per night. I think the management is not aware about what is going on in the world relative to hotel business.
Very comfortable and service was very good. Breakfast was good. The location was right in the center of the area we were visiting. Would stay there again.
My room had no working heat it was cold both nights. Given a blanket, which was no comfort at all unless I stayed under covers. Second night was told they would take care of it which meant nothing was done. Lied right to my face. Will not be sleeping here on next trip
We enjoyed our 5 day stay. Everything was clean, breakfast was included and was a nice selection Nicole the food service worker for our first couple days was very pleasant and welcoming.
Never had a bad stay at this location. It is always consistent and clean, in a great location.
Checked in hotel, checked tub and it had a ring around which means someone else’s skin was laying there. Clerk came and cleaned it. Ran bath water sat down and saw black mold under overflow. Reported it to manager next day. She told me she would take off my next night but when I went to have keys reset she changed her story. I had things to do so I agreed to $99 instead of $172. Manager informed me she personally would clean it so I felt it was fair. When I returned to hotel there was a very strong smell of bleach. I noticed a black ring around drain that wasn’t there before and as I ran water black flakes filled the water. I wiped it with toilet paper to show manager. We couldn’t take a shower or bath, gross. She insisted she cleaned and didn’t know where the black ring came from. I even asked for her to look at what she supposedly cleaned, she refused. I insisted that my money be refunded 3x. I was never rude. She continued to lie. She had no clue I had pictures and recorded her to send to choice privileges. I ask for someone over her, she said there wasn’t anyone, which is not true. I will no longer stay with comfort suites. She gave a bad name to the amish and community.
Very clean rooms with friendly, and helpful staff. Convenient location just off route 30 near the outlets, and dining options.
The rooms are very nice. The beds are very firm though. The front desk (at least at night) does not have staff at the counter very often. The breakfast is good, but could have a better variety of breads. Over all a good place to stay.
We usually stay here because it is well situated for our visit to restaurants and other Amish sites.
I decided to try a different hotel than my go-to & I made a great choice! The most important thing for me is cleanliness and this place is top notch. The rooms are spacious, modern and super clean! The beds are bright white and comfy- no stains/hair/etc which is a plus because I am PICKY! I will deff be back
We clean our rooms to disinfect them before each stay and only found a few areas we need to touch that were dirty. The room was not cramped and a/c and heat controls worked well. The bath area was in good shape.
Great place to stay. Staff very helpful. Rooms very clean and breakfast was great. Variety of items.
Nice place to stay. No room service due to covid. But the morning buffet breakfast was nice.
We were greeted by a friendly desk clerk. We enjoyed the pool. Very clean establishment. Breakfast was enjoyed by our family. Staff was friendly. We would definitely stay again. Room was comfortable and spacious.
Cleanest rooms and outstanding location. Service was well above average. A modern place with modern ammenities. One of three places we rated five stars. Will highly recommend to our friends.
Keep up the great work.
