Comfort Suites Hummelstown - Hershey

When this hotel was new, it was awesome. It’s not that old but it is showing its age a bit.

I was here by myself on a Wed night. Hotel was sparsely occupied. They gave me a king room but a handicapped king room. It’s relevant only because the shower was really tiny to be able to fit a handicapped person’s wheelchair in. And the shower head’s highest point was a good foot below the top of my head. Really annoying. Why would you do that?

Apart from that all good.

Comfort Suites Hummelstown-Hershey is the ideal place to stay. The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is good and there is coffee and tea throughout the day. I love it!
One of the managers, Sam was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of where to eat and how to get around. We love the service. You will not be disappointed.

There were at least two bed bugs in our room that we discovered during our stay, and immediately reported to the desk. We were only offered a 15% discount and a different room, despite the significant cost to clean our things appropriately. Management seemed indifferent that we were unsatisfied, and I will never be staying here again.

The staff was very accommodating for us. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was delicious.

My family stayed here, in a room with 2 beds and couch. Room very clean and near Hershey Park. Breakfast was good. Would definitely come back here again.

Amazing as always! Have never been let down or felt uncomfortable at Comfort inn suites. Clean and amazing staff. I slept so good I actually woke up early enough for Continental breakfast and that was awesome too.

We had booked a room at another place originally (through Priceline), got there and there was no rooms available (but they had still charged us). Here we are at midnight, nowhere to go with 2 kids and not much with the size we needed available (and because it's so late also the inability to check in immediately, we would have to wait until 4pm or pay triple the cost). Priceline was absolutely zero help so here we were looking online and calling around until after 2am. Finally we reach this hotel and Saint Eric at the front desk. When he told us we could come in immediately to rest, that we wouldn't be charged more, that the drinks behind the counter weren't at a quadruple markup, saw that the rooms are clean, beds are comfortable I seriously wanted to hug him lol. I seriously couldn't reccomend this hotel more! I'm seeing now also that the breakfast is so much more than we found at other competitors. If the company/corporate higher ups read this - Eric is the best, a treasure of an employee, and deserves a raise! Lol I vote we clone Eric and make the world a better place. Thank you for saving our sanity and turning all this around!

Expect pubic hair on bed sheets.
We visited this hotel twice (two years apart) and each time we had to leave immediately upon arrival after checking the bed sheets and seeing human body hair.
This is a VERY DIRTY HOTEL.
I find it my responsibility to inform public about it, because fake reviewers have given this place 4 stars.
You will find out upon your arrival that this is NOT a decent place.

Don’t ever stay at this hotel! They are rude and inconsiderate! My son tested positive for Covid and they refused to offer my money back even when I called the first time to cancel their OWN staff offered and said to call back and speak with Pete the manager! When calling back not only did he put me on hold 3 times and he wouldn’t even consider it with a doctors note. Next time I will bring my sick infected kid to your hotel and infect everyone! Poor poor customer service! Didn’t even offer a credit to come back

Place can use repairs. Doors not opening smoothly.

They had bacon at breakfast. It was awesome because how many hotels have bacon for breakfast? !
Great sized rooms, super friendly and helpful staff, and an outstanding breakfast selection. But there was hardly any artwork on the walls, the arm for the desk chair was loose and falling off, the pipe to the showerhead had a leak that sprayed all over the floor, and half the room had a huge empty void where a jacuzzi tub would probably have gone if it were a full suite (I got a mini suite) with a bathroom exhaust fan over the space. It made the layout look kind of strange, but nevertheless, I'd absolutely go back if I was in the area again!

Very clean open big rooms! Only few minutes away from attractions, very friendly staff! Me and my family left very satisfied.

Room was nice. Breakfast was acceptable. 15 minutes to Hershey Park. 5+ minute drive to various restaurants.

Great place. Clean and very close to Hershey Park. Perfect place to stay for a Hershey family trip.

Enjoyed the room. There was a baseball tournament close by. Some boys stood outside my door and they started to mess with the door. That was very scary with all that is going on today. When I checked in the desk clerk was not pleasant. He did his job but it seemed to be a great effort. With the price I paid for the 2 night stay he could have had a smile on his face welcoming us.

Inflated prices, because of various tournaments, and a mediocre setting. No food or bar on premises. Rooms kind of musty.

The rooms where just as nice as the upperscale hotels these rooms are spacious and clean, don't waste your money elsewhere this place is just as good for half the price of most upper scale hotels and you can stay within your budget!
