Community Animal Hospital, York PA

Community Animal Hospital is a wonderful place to take your pets. Everyone is very professional and very kind & caring. I have been bringing pets to Community Animal Hospital for many years and I have always been very satisfied with the services they provide and the care and concern they always have. They go above and beyond to help with your needs and your pet's needs. I highly recommend Community Animal Hospital. I don't think there is another vet practice with so many great people who truly love what they do.

I can't even express in words the gratitude that I have for this wonderful animal hospital/vet/staff that has done an amazing job with my cat and even though it was a devastating outcome for my lil baby girl I am going to use them in the future with my other cats and I'm just so thankful that I was led to go to this wonderful place. #thankful #grateful

I’ve been going to CAH for over 20 years and they have always treated my pets wonderfully and are very reasonable in price.

Staff was really nice and took us early because we were early. Ease in scheduling cat for spaying.

Receptionist need to be courteous to the people. Not friendly at all. As for the doctor's very nice and explained every question I had.
I would of given a 5 star review but didn’t like my treatment when I first walked in from the first receptionist. I will recommend this place even though.

This place is filled with kind people! I took my Luna girl there and they took good care of her

UPDATE 9/2023:
My dog has been back for a few different issues and Dr Sloat has been extremely patient with her. On her last visit for double ear infection, he said he believes she's starting to trust him so this is a huge step in the right direction! I highly recommend this practice.

My dog is nicknamed "The Tasmanian Devil, " and they treated her like a queen. I was amazed how she immediately liked everyone, didn't bite anyone, and ran around the exam room investigating instead of hiding in her carrier growling! I hope this is the last vet for us.

Dr. Peterson is an amazing vet. He performed a very difficult surgery on my Sadie. He removed a cancerous tumor on the base of her tail. He got clear margins. I will be forever greatful for his expertise and HIM. This was 4 years ago and she is living her best life in Florida now. The only reason there are 4 stars is because the office itself, has a lot to be desired.

Dr. Sloat and his staff are the best! They take the time needed to explain everything and make sure we understand what is going on and what is needed! You can see that they care about the animals and their owners! I will never go anywhere else!

Once again, Dr. Sloat and his team were absolutely wonderful! My pets always get the best care here and today’s visit was a lot lower in price than I anticipated. I would recommend Community Animal Hospital to everyone.

Community Animal Hospital was great when our dog got stung by a bee. They were able to see us quickly and did a great job caring for our dog!
