Compadres Mexican Restaurant reviews
11Always enjoy dining here whenever I visit. Such a lovely restaurant tucked away just one behind the main street, interior very cozy and intimate, with a friendly and professional crew to boot! The rooms are newly renovated in a modern arty style and very comfortable. All the staff has been very nice and helpful. We love to come back! I highly appreciate it!
This place is great, some of these reviews are straight lies and sound like angry customers who just didn't get their way. All hot foods are made to order.
The food is always great and the margaritas are even better! The staff is a fun group of people. This is our favorite Mexican restaurant.
The reasons I give it only 4 stars is that you can use only 1 coupon per table. We had 2 couples and only one couple could use their coupon that had been sent via e-mail. The second reason for only 4 stars is that the vast majority of the staff improperly wears a face mask. It is either below their nose or on their chin. When one server comes to take your order, he pulls his face mask down. We have observed this repeatedly when we visit. Also, there are no barriers between tables or at the bar.
Compadres has been a favorite of mine here in Edinboro when I'm craving Mexican cuisine. The food is always hot, the facility is well maintained and clean, and the servers are articulate in both Spanish and English. I continue to go here because of the high quality food and staff.
Did a painting class there. Didn't order food. But got their nachos and salsa and had virgin Strawberry daiquiris with my daughter. Nice environment. Had a great time and the drinks were delicious
Loved the atmosphere, server was attentive. Food and drinks were delicious. More than reasonable prices with the entrees you get.
The staff was very nice. Lovely waitress. I just wasn’t impressed with the food. & im easily impressed. I got 3 steak tacos and double rice. The corn tortillas weren't even fully cooked.just by looking at them you could tell.it was like eating the tortilla hours after its been cooked. I only ate one. I was very bummed that the rice wasn't great either.it wasnt cooked all the way through.it was more of a mushy mess than anything (not a fan of certain textures when eating). I did enjoy the fried ice cream and alcohol.but it was kinda pricey. 65$ for two meals, fried ice cream, and two alcoholic beverages. My 3 tacos and rice was $16 dollars alone. It just wasn’t worth it, unfortunately.
We've had good experiences here before, but tonight they were just.off. Be aware that there are two completely different chicken quesadillas on the menu, one with shredded chicken & cheese plus peppers & onions (which are not mentioned on the menu) and the other with grilled chicken & cheese, no vegetables. Make sure you know which one you're ordering.
The food was good but messed up my order, I ordered late just before closing and couldn't go back by the time I got home,
If you are in Edinboro I highly recommend you eat here. The service is quick and pleasant the food is delicious, and the fried ice cream is incredible.
Food is pretty good but prices on higher side for what it is. Went with a $10 lunch special and it wasn't bad at all. My date got the shrimp special and said she was pleased with the quantity of shrimp for the price.
