Congo Road Open Space

This is a lesser known place, but it's great for a short walk in the woods, or a local campout - there is a fire ring, shelter, & Gaga pit. There is a house on the property, the water is not safe for drinking or washing, but it does mean there are indoor flush toilets. There are several short trails that are an easy walk.

A place to hangout, eat your food and enjoy the trees and grass. There are some trials, and a fire pit for whatever reason. The cops always come over whenever someone drives in here so basically I would just stick to eating food at the picnic table and getting out of there because who knows what we are allowed to do here better be safe than sorry. At least the gravel road adds to the "outdoor experience" its pretty much the closest thing to overlanding that you can get here in eastern PA. Making a little camp fire at night with marshmallows would be fun too, but again this is PA. What a boring state. Nothing but stores and paved roads. Everything is locked away and illegal. Its funny why do people own jeeps around here? To be the boss for the two days of snow out of the whole year? Oh that is if its anything more than 3 inches ofcourse.
