Conwell Inn, Philadelphia PA

Can’t say enough nice things about our stay at the Conwell Inn! The rooms were very nice, clean, and extremely comfortable. The bed was absolutely a dream! The location is amazing, smack dab in the middle of Temple and easy to get to everything. We will definitely be staying here again!

This hotel advertises having A/C but did not when we stayed in October. This is blatant false advertisement. We tried to cool off by opening the windows but the noise on the neighboring street was too loud to sleep. The receptionist was also quite rude when I brought this up to them. I would advise to avoid this hotel at all costs

Thankful this hotel is right on Temple University’s campus and parking is right next to it on a private drive. It’s $20 per night per vehicle. Staff at the hotel were great, room was very clean as expected. I wish there would’ve been a fridge in the room being we had been upgraded to a suite.
There is a coffee shop attached to the hotel which is super convenient since there is no breakfast provided from the hotel. Along side of that is a 24 hour 7/11!
There is a bar with food in walking distance on campus as well.
5 minute walk from the liacouras center, but definitely would not recommend walking on the Main Street (north broad st) as it seems not very safe.

Staff very pleasant.
Our room was nice, had everything we needed for our short stay.
Only disappointing part was no refrigerator/microwave in room but it WAS available.
Confusing to get to the location for out of town people. I would still recommend.

My stay was ok. The staff did not provide a receipt when I checked out and I emailed twice, called once. In addition to the time wasted on this, the staff answered the phone was VERY rude and unhelpful.would not stay here again.

Overall, it was fine and priced for the accommodations. Service was good. Location was great. It was clean, beds were comfortable, parking was fine, and the water pressure was good. But the rooms need some paint, there was a bit of rust in the bathroom, the bathroom sink faucet seemed to either be really cold or really hot. And the heat/cool system was manual (either the cool or heat was on or off, no temperature set), which made it challenging to maintain a comfortable temperature.

This hotel was fantastic! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, the room was comfortable and clean, and the location was perfect. Highly recommend!

I loved this little place! It was easy to find for Uber and Lyft drivers, close to our destination, and a GORGEOUS campus! We felt very safe walking around, both in the middle of the night and first thing in the day. I recommend this hotel to anyone. It was very nice, and EXTREMELY quiet.
