Cooper’s Super Bar, Philadelphia PA

My debit card fell on the floor a patron handed it to the security guard who went patron to patron until he came to me where it was returned thanks so much says a lot about the integrity of the clientele and staff. Jumbo shrimp was awesome and happy hour a lot of fun

8-14-2022 had great food, drinks, and shot pool with the fiance. Staff was accommodating as well.

Food is good. I really only go for that. I've seen the place with music and tables full (still not jumping) and I've seen it dead with two woman drunk signing Whitney Houston songs. I'm not a huge drinker or hooka person but if you live around you know the neighborhood doesn't have any other soul food like things like cooper's does. I usually get the wings cause I'm basic but my husband orders a variety of things and often wants me to order so the food is tasty for sure

Female Security is rude and disrespectful and targets the customers coming in, she gives mainly (females) a hard time getting into the establishment. I would never recommend for anyone with class to visit this establishment

This place is the worst bar lady only serves the people she know I waited 30 min for one drink and a hr for the other and yes she took my order then when to the people she know the worst ever

Nice place just remodeled.

Awesome, food good staff was wonderful.happy hour is the best. 25 center wings half price liquor.

Too many kids during HAPPY hour! Watching your back constantly! Hate one way in and only one way out!

Food was OK Bartender was ignorant security was ignorant ask him a question about mask he refused to answer At the end of the day If people don't come to this establishment there is no establishment Respect customers that respect you.

I wish I had read the reviews before I went.
It's a 20 dollar cover at the door perpare to be felted up by the security no metal detector. The music is so loud you have to scream at the bartender the tables are wobbly and the chairs are uncomfortable I kept sliding off no A/C just some random fans on the floor the food was over seasoned and didn't taste fresh they don't have a drink menu and like I said music so loud your screaming drink prices are about the same as everywhere else but watered down. Hookah burns out real fast and new coal in 5 dollars with all the money they get it should have been A/C I won't be returning to this bar

The staff was horrible! & this particular staff member went on her social media to tweet untrue rude things about customer and serving them sink water! Dirty kitchen and disgusting bathrooms!

On Tuesday's Coopers Bar is the "BEST"! Barmaid Nae is "ALWAYS ON POINT" and also a Wonderful, Person. Crowd is Awesome, too!

The place has a beautiful professional barmaid whose name is nay nay and the security is tight at the door and it's clean with good food nice atmosphere and the owners are great people. And its an older mature clientele no young hooligans running around playing gangster rap! I had a Great time!

Bar is very unprofessional. They had 3 bartenders on a Wednesday night which you would think would be good because there was a big crowd. Yet it took an half hr to get a drink because the bartenders catered to all the men. The women came last even if you were there first. Plus all 3 bartenders were working the middle of the bar which made no sense so if u were on the ends of the bar u were struggling to get their attention. A bartender is supposed to ask u what would u like. Part of the customer service. After I one drink which took over 30 min I waited for another 45 the second time b4 I said whatever and ne and my friends ended up buying shots off of folks that bought a bottle. Terrible experience. Sad because you want to spend money with black people but they are always overpriced, rude and unprofessional
